he was so great

went onto youtube and was watching spurs thrash bristol rovers 9-0 when i noticed the ginola video in the related videos panel

http://youtube.com/watch?v=V9KxU_3zolM

anyway was watching it and it brought back so many memories!

he was sooooo good - it was just such a shame that the other players with him at the time were rubbisj (though ruel fox's goal vs blackburn was pretty awesome)

he gave us some really great times and i'll always remember him as a true spurs legend (apart from that l'oreal stuff)

[would be great if spurs could treat him and bring him back to the lane as a coach for the likes of gds...!]

He wasn't bad, was he? Just a shame he was part of a thoroughly forgettable Spurs team.

graham broke my heart! he may have won the carling cup but when he sold ginola my love of idolising spurs players died.....until berbatov came...and prob's gone.

i used to pretend to be ginola in they play ground..used to piss everyone off because i didnt pass the ball

I was so gutted when we got rid of him, it was a farce.

all time spurs legend - worth the entrance money alone - and sometimes he had to be :)

Though of course we did have other decent players at the tme -and one excellent one, but who because of his actions, deservedly, is only now a sad footnote in our history book

Bale will be the new Ginola.

Modric will be the new Ginola.

Seriously. He played that way for Zagreb. A right footed player, who is also just as comfortable on his left, playing out on the left. Coming infield, quick feet and a killer pass. Most will know Modric for his play in the centre during the Euros but lets not write him off playing on the left until we've seen him there. He looks like he could be a bit like Lionel Messi out wide, with the freedom to come infield, switch flanks and play off the front men.

Style, elegance, good looks, intelligence, skill and two great feet. He was a talentless bastard wasn't he?

Absolute Spurs legend who was a shining light through so many shit seasons. And a true gent as well. I still miss seeing him wrap the ball around the keeper from outside the box with that left peg!

Remember the welcome he got at the 125 game:

And he thought he wouldn't be welcome back!
