If I'm honest, it was only a couple of weeks ago that I wasn't confident of our chances.
Now, since the last few results, I think we may even scape 3rd and I expect this feeling to last right up until, ooh, our next loss...when I'll plummet back into the depths of depression again!

Im sure they could dig up threads from around 1st February 2011 where people were demanding we sack 'Arry, bring in Mourinho because he has always wanted to manage us, and that we definately were going to be very very lucky to finish in the top 8 as our season was over now that we hadnt handed over 80 squillion quid on a striker we had seen a few youtube videos on.

Thats because your league is rubbish, winning 16 matches in a row with only one game against top opposition, your fans and team start to get cocky

and it doesn't help when a teams are waiting for you to score

it doesn't read any different to one of our threads. we all worry, have different ideas of permutations etc... i don't think they were totally unrealistc either. we could be anywhere from 6th to 3rd come the end of the season

Yes and this is a point that often gets lost on SC :roll:

We are no less or more fickle than Chelski/Arse/Utd etc fans but that doesn't stop SCers regularly applying this insult to Spurs fans as if some kind of fact .
