Walker is ripping into training and looking forward to a season where hopefully he can remain injury free

Hopefully Trippier signing galvanises him the same way Davies did DRose.

I don't get the negativity towards Walker. The recovery from his injury meant he wasn't 100% last season. It's possible he won't ever fully recover, but I believe he'll work his backside off to try and get back in the team.

Strange how quick people forget.

But people have always been quick to critisize him even when he was playing well.

Even when he was dominating opposing wingers week in week out, all it took was one misplaced pass before he was dubbed as average and past it.

The Liverpool game.....

Although we lost the Carling Cup final I felt he was excellent against Hazard, had him in his pocket most of the time.

I feel the best time to judge him is when this season starts, he will have no excuses.

Saying that I have a sneaky feeling Trippier will be 1st choice.

Despite Kyle Walkers physical advantages I feel Trippier's a better player.

Not going to happen.

Prove me wrong, kyle; make me eat shit.

I'll even take pics of me doing so if you somehow lose the batshit in you.

Actually, I'll eat batshit.

Agreed. I think the reality is next year is make or break for him. With Trippier and Yedlin sniffing around he'll either sink or swim. I'd guess there's about a 50/50 chance this time next year he'll be signing for Hull/Watford/QPR or whoever our reject feeder club is in a years time. From the sounds of this he knows it, so hopefully he will come out with a rocket up his backside and score the winner against Manure.

Sorry but Kyle walker is a shadow of the player he was in that particular breakthrough season he had a few years back. Before his injury he was abysmal and he has been even worse since coming back so the injury excuse is ridiculous. Truely hope he proves me wrong but there's a reason why Spurs have bought in Tripper and that's because Walker is not trusted as our main right back and to right

Kyle had a poor season but with confidence and a good pre season plus Trippier breathing down his neck it could be a good kick up the arse, I thought Kyle walker would be a right prick till I met him he is a really lovely bloke and needs our support.

I believe in kyle he's good player who suffered with injuries and believe he'll return stronger and about trippier i think he can play as right mid/winger.
