Hi, folks. Dustin Menno here, managing editor of Cartilage Free Captain. We're a Tottenham Hotspur fan blog in the United States.

Last year we helped stage a fundraiser for our friend Thomas, managing editor of SB Nation's Arsenal blog The Short Fuse, after an accident left him with crippling medical bills.

In gratitude, they let us take over their blog for a day. There was much banter. It was a lot of fun.

We're upping the ante this year in conjunction with TSF and are putting some skin in the game by participating in a one-week Charity Challenge. In short, whichever blog raises the most money for their chosen charity by Wednesday, August 10 will get to take over the other team's blog for a day on a date to be chosen later.

CFC's chosen blog is Noah's Ark Children's Hospice, which most of you will recognize. It's a local north London charity that helps kids and their families who are dealing with life threatening and limiting illnesses. It's also an official charitable partner of Tottenham Hotspur.

You're under no obligation to donate, but we sure would appreciate one. Even a donation of just a few pounds will help us flatten The Short Fuse and will help a lot of sick London kids and their families. So far we've raised over £600. We think we can do a LOT better than that.

Learn more about the challenge on Cartilage Free Captain, or skip that and just donate now.

Thanks, and COYS!
