Apparently H&J wrote a piece for the official programme yesterday. What did they say? Anything funny?

BTW Jacobs was a right miserable git today. Typical Chelscum fan, blaming Grant, and no credit for us. Chavs! :duh:

well, it was his bizarre substitutions which were a major factor in the game.

Andy also felt like the boy tweedy should have gone off and was a very lucky boy. HE also commented on what a great game it was so i really think u are being a tad harsh on him

I saw Hawksbee's name in the credits for Harry Hills TV Burp last week.
Just thought I'd let you know I ain't totally lost it yet.

he does a lot of comedy writing. he has written for the two ronnies, Frankie howerd and did one of the audience with Al Murrays. Amongst other things im sure.

He is a top bloke and a very funny man.

Anyone remember "90 minutes" magazine? He was the editor and Frank skinner a columnist

The magazine responsible for Posh and Becks. I've still got that 'Spice Girls' issue with Baby Spice resplendent in her Pony Spurs top. The slag.

Juliette was the one to blame! She showed Posh a few pictures of footballers she might fancy as part of the interview and apparently she saw Becks and said 'Ooh I like him, who's he?'. Bam, next weekend she's at Old Trafford to meet him...

And the maddest thing is, I'm not even joking. You'd think there'd be some kind of reward for setting up the country's biggest celebrity couple really. I'm thinking money, or at least an invite to the wedding! :shifty:

Apparently when the Spice Girls got a special invite to a Manu game before Posh & Beck were together, Paul Scholes is alledged to of said out loud "i wouldnt mind giving that Posh Spice one!!" lol - i bet David always had his eye on his little ginger nut friend.

Ha ha! You're talking to me at cross purposes. This is an old thread post Cup Final that has been ressurrected. You're replying to comments I made about what Andy Jacobs said after the Cup Final.

I didn't hear what he said about the match Weds night, so thanks for the update as I was wondering and missed the show.

Check the dates of the posts!

Yeah, he's a regular scriptwriter on the show, and they've had Harry on as a guest before. He lent Paul's son one of his specially made shirts with the big collar for a fancy dress party, sounds a nice guy.

don't encourage people to listen to that station. it's for sub-humans only.

What a biased snobby view.

I much prefer it to 5Live's sports coverage alot of the time.

Danny Kelly has been doing some shows recently, and along with H&J, is worth listening to.

Mike Parry is an nincompoop, only has Everton eyes, hate southern teams al round, know eff-all about football, tries to sing to amuse the listeners, just a jerk really.

Then you get Brazil, harmless enough in himself, like his lifestyle though, played as a pro so kinda knows his stuff..

Jason Cundy and the other twerps including Gary "the teeth" Stevens take the TS dollar and infuriate fans to incite them to phone up.

Don't listen any more, don't miss it.

But hey that is my own personal opinion.

She looked alot more normal then than she does now, that's for sure!

Never heard him on TS, but her Dad used to ring up LBC regularly in those days.

Not me LL, at 52 I'm a bit old for the pouting imbecile,
my eldest daughter is the same age as VB, and when we lived in Cheshunt it was common knowledge that VB had some skin removed from her ass and put on her acne pocked face - Hence the cruel name bum-face.

 Well, slightly cruel but accurate nonetheless!

Great story! Cheers for that one! Hope you don't mind if I pass it on to Steve Allen on LBC who mocks her regularly.

That'll get me into trouble.

My other daughter was about 15 and in the local Elf garage one Saturday night when DB & VB were filling up one of their fancy motors, she said hello to him and went all shy, the rest of her crowd were hooting and jackassing around, VB shouted to my daughter "grow some pubes you little tart"

Nice stuff posh.

Whereabouts in N16 are you LL ?

Its not what he saw in her, Its what she saw in him, she was ok for a couple of million, but he was the one with the big bucks ahead of him. Money talks

I grew up in N16,between 1960 & 72, the other side of Stoke Newington Common, Jenner Rd off Brooke Rd, last set foot down that way about 20 odd years ago.

You must be up Church Street/Albion Rd way then I take it, I used to drink in the Mildmay Club (plus hundreds of other places) back in the day.

Oh, I totally agree, she knows which side her bread's buttered re the fame and fortune.

Our paths must have crossed! Probably over the Park at one time, you're only a little bit older than me, and did you know Paul Hawksbee grew up in Hawksley Court, the big flats on Albion Road along with Buster Bloodvessel from Bad Manners. I used to pass the guitarist on my way to school every morning.
Hawksbee moved to Enfield, you moved to Hertfordshire, and us plebs stayed here. You'd find it's changed quite a bit if you came back, still recognize the place though. :)

Exactly there! (I changed my previous post to say Clissold Park as it's more known, but you knew anyway!)
That was a working men's club wasn't it? (it's still there btw). My friend's Dad was in the Union in the 70s and they went to all the Christmas/New year dos etc there. Oh we live the high life in N.16! Nice to chat to you TCO! :hello:
