I spent a few youthful days fishing in the ponds over the back of Clissold Park, don't think I ever caught anything.

I know the "posh" end of SN pretty well, went to cub scouts in Bouverie Rd, Dentist opposite the old SN townhall, swimming in the Clissold Baths, I remember the deer in the park, (probably been rustled a long time since).

My old man took me to Highbury on damp November nights in the 60's to watch AFC but I didn't fall for that one, I went to Spurs instead.

I remember a mad "mate" of mine stabbing the park-keeper one morning, mad bugger John was.

Ha ha! You're talking to me at cross purposes. This is an old thread post Cup Final that has been ressurrected. You're replying to comments I made about what Andy Jacobs said after the Cup Final.

I didn't hear what he said about the match Weds night, so thanks for the update as I was wondering and missed the show.

Check the dates of the posts!

If you stood in front of the gates of Clissold Park opposite St. Mary's Church with it's spectacular Gothic architecture and the narrow winding Church Street it still looks the same and would feel familiar to you TCO.

I keep thinking one day I'll go back and take my kids to show them my old stamping grounds.

When I write my book one day I'll be sure to mention it all.
