Going slightly against the grain here but I do believe we will spend a good chunk. Lloris & Hojbjerg are also close to leaving and then we need to shift 4/5 more to trim the squad. Who we will bring in I'm not 100% sure, but Levy will know the pitchforks will be out if he doesn't act very quickly. There is no way he doesn't bring in a couple more by UTD, otherwise the atmosphere could be toxic in our opening home game of the season.
Well at least no one can complain about the squad being stale now

Is it too late to offer him a 5 year deal, loan him to Bayern for 2 years for £40m and then he can come back and get the record.

It's hard to take but hopefully we have moved on by then I guess, but would love him to win trophies with us, in 2 seasons, Ange will have has playing amazing. Ah dreams.

I'm hopeful Skipp can develop into a top player, his passing is pretty underrated and reminds me a little of Kane in the early days, I wonder what he'll add to his game.
Or maybe all aboard the hype Dane?

With all due respect. Levy, and i cannot stress this enough, does not care. If you truly believe that the 'pitchforks will be out' bothers either Levy, the board or ENIC and that it will have any effect then you are kidding yourself.

Someone on the Official Spurs Supports Group for Sweden just shared a screengrab of a private jet due to fly from Stanstead to Munich... that has just been cancelled hah. Stick him on the Easyjet.

The never won a trophy for Spurs team is insane!
Loris
Walker Toby Verts Rose
Dembele Modric Carrick
Bale Kane Klinsman

I’m sure I’ve missed some obvious ones as well.

Is Ange not the plan? Did we not sign a centre back and a young talented striker this week?

We’ve made opportunistic signings before but seemingly Ange has vetoed several. I think we’re better set than we’d have been twelve months ago.
Thing is Ange was the 'plan' after Nagglesmann and Slot were the 'plan'. Basically there is no plan, its seat of the pants shit. You wouldn't run anything, business, semi professional curling club, newsagents, like this if you were in fact good at running things. Unless it dosnt matter, its a property portfolio with a football club attached and your sweating the assetts.

I know losing "big players" and replacing with kids can seem alarming but you'd argue that Kane, Hojbjerg and Lloris are the 3 senior players who are most contrasting to Ange's preferred style. Kane obviously is such a talent that he would thrive regardless but of Ange wants to create a "Poch" style mentality here of all out attack he needs a certain type of player. I think we will be a better team for it.

The big irony in all this is that it was our desperate attempts to appease Kane and get the trophy monkey off his back in getting 2 successful but the antithesis of Spurs managers that has led us to this position in the first place.
I agree. And probably Levy not really appreciating that moving to the Mourinho/Conte approach needed a complete philosophy change at the club rather than just hiring those managers, buying a few players, and hoping it all worked out. It's obviously easy to say after the fact, but I don't think the club was ever going to make that sea change, so we have spent 4 years in limbo and effectively wasting the talent of Kane.

I'm in the camp of wishing Harry well, but once he's out the door I'm not going to be too fussed about what he achieves at club level. It will be weird not seeing him on the team sheet, but we move on.

I've made my peace with the idea of Harry moving to Bayern, in the hope that it helps my new flag business take off.

Currently sitting by a pool in Spain. Lifeguard removes the towels from the sun loungers in front of us as they’ve not been used all morning. The culprits arrive sometime later in a state of disgust that their towels (and reserved sun loungers) have gone. The icing on the cake is that the teenage son has a Bayern Munich top on. Take that you Kane stealing w*nkers

People keep saying that we only need a poacher for a striker in Anges' system. But Kane is probably the most complete finisher with the most intelligent movement in the box in the world. And he presses intelligently when he has managers that instruct him to do so (under Poch and for England). That's why I find the argument that he wouldn't suit the system as a strange one.
