I’m clearly in the minority, but I’m actually chuffed if he goes there at this point.

We need a massive reset, massive reset. It’s a new era, new team, new ideas.

He is having minimum 2 years over there, so we don’t have to go through the pain of him lining up against us. He’ll win the league but it’s hollow as anything out there with them. Insignificant league so we will barely hear about him past October

Sad to see him go, would have been amazing if he had signed forever but he clearly never intended to.

Onwards and Upwards, COYS forever.

This is the payment for the 4 years of disastrous decision making spot Poch - the biggest irony of which is that these big name coaches who ruined us were hired to attempt to keep Kane.

the painful rebuild is finally here and we have the right coach in place.

lets hope we can get a few exciting players in and see what this group of plucky underdogs can do.

Six signings and two or three more to come in, plus a new manager, should in any fans opinion suggest a rebuild.

I said earlier that we will never replace Kane, but can now afford to replace that defence and other areas that need strengthening.

Glass half full sort of observation.
Knowing, of course, that we wont actually do those things. Rather end up witb Sissoko, Raziak and Paulinho again.
On the bright side - some of the youth look promising... remember who suddenly came through under Sherwood when no goals came from soldado, ade, saha etc.

I can’t help it and admire your ability to move on.

I felt protective over Harry more than any other player that has played for us so it’s really fucked me.

I personally can’t even think about the season.
They'll never love him like we did mate. Absolutely devastated.

Whatever, Harry. I'll never understand this decision he's made. He's throwing away the chance to be a genuine, one-club legend and smash all sorts of records just so he can cruise to a trophy (with a team that would've won it anyway and that nobody will even remember his involvement with) just so he can say he won something.

Up the Dortmund.
100% this to me that shows such poor ambition you go to Madrid or Barca where there’s at least a bit of competition. Very disappointed especially as I will be routing for all the English teams (apart from arsenal) to get that 5th CL Berth in the league

Small detail from the German side (SPORT1)

"Although there was much speculation, Kane stuck to his promise. If everything goes according to plan, he will make his debut at the start of the Bundesliga on August 18 in Bremen. "

If true and he doesn't play on Saturday in the Supercup vs Leipzig (as had been expected/hoped by them previously) - at least we avoid some of the trophy banter from his first day there

Whilst I'm obviously gutted that H has gone, I was more gutted when Bale left 🤷‍♂️. Maybe in time that'll change and realise we took Harry for granted...but for me Bales brilliance was another level. Hey ho.

To paraphrase a wise man 'The badge on the front will always be bigger than the name on the back'.

I don’t understand what positives people expect us to get out of this.

however much money we spend we will not be able to sign someone even nearly as good as Kane. We also aren’t in a position to attract one of the few young players with the potential to be as good as Kane.

And that’s only talking about ability - let alone what he means to Tottenham and what he represents. That won’t be replaced by another player for years.
I never said this itself was positive? I said we need to get some positive out there. Unless you think we should just focus on this? Kane leaving is a blow but fucking hell we can still be positive about what we have and the future ahead. There's more to the club than just Kane.

This week he takes on comedian Rhys James, who is a Tottenham fan.

James says he supports Spurs because "I had a very privileged upbringing and my dad thought it would be good to put in some hardship somewhere along the line".

Yeah - nope.

I hope he never wins a trophy in Germany.

I respect his right to choose, but that does not mean I have like it.

I don’t like it either, but the less successful he is there the more chance he turns up at another PL team…… and trust me, if you don’t like this then that will be 100 times worse.

I know Ange is great and I love so many of our players - but I'm not stepping foot in the ground this season, and won't be watching on TV by choice. Rules my emotions too much, and Kane going is a good time to step back a bit
Fair fucks bro. I've done that for a few months at a time, and it helped me. Good luck

Munich where obviously talking to the Kane camp for a long period of time as I remember seeing them linked during last season. At the time I just brushed it under the carpet. But the bottom line is this, Kane no longer wanted to play for this football club and has chosen to go to the Bundesliga. All good things come to an end. Cya Harry.
