If I was Kane, and it was this late in the day, I would just wait one more season and pick my club. Yeah it screws Spurs over but for him it’s the most sensible option.

My bar has definitely turned red more than green this window. I think because I’m mainly a pessimist but whatever happens I am still looking forward to the season. I watched our “B” team containing players surplus to requirements play Barca off the pitch for 4-79 minutes on Tuesday. Players actually passing to each other. Amazing what a bit of coaching can do. I’m Ange in and I’m looking forward to fighting with the wife when she wants to go curtain shopping but Burnley vs Luton is on tv…. We can but hope city win the CL and Liverpool the UEL as it prob means 5th is good enough for a CL place and currently that’s my prediction I think we’ve made some shrewd youthful quick additions in Maddison, Alejo, Solomon and VDV. Goodbye King Kane and good luck!!

5th qualifies for CL next year regardless. Not sure if a prem team winning pushed that to 6, but probably.

EDIT a league can’t have more than 5 CL spurs, so I was wrong there, would never go to 6.

I live further away from my parents than Kane would be in Munich, and they see the grandkids several times a year. I would expect that Harry's parents, and Kates parents would be regular fixtures in Munich if Kane decides to go.

If Kane decides to stay, I’d like some form of closure to stop this story repeating all the way through to the end of this window and again in January.

Ideally, Kane would sign a contract extension.

Failing this, it’d be good to have an unequivocal statement from Kane.
