Personally think those wondering why he'd leave for Bayern 'to win a few tin-pot Bundesliga titles' are being a small bit naive.

Bayern are currently second favourites to win the Champions League, and that's without them having signed arguably the best Striker in the world. If Kane signs for Bayern and manages to fire them to the Champions League, he would have a massive chance at winning a Ballon' Dor as he would be viewed as their star player.

So in the space of three years, Kane would very much see himself having a chance at winning 3 league titles, 3 league cups, a Champions League and a Ballon' Dor. And I can absolutely guarantee that Tuchel has been telling him that nonstop all Summer.

There's no doubt I think that he'd very much prefer that to getting the premier league goalscoring record.

Perhaps the deal has been accepted now to ensure Kane signs an extension if he decides to stay. All the talk this week of Kane having 2nd thoughts about Bayern, you can’t really have him staying without committing to a new deal with or without escape clauses.

going to a PL rival for nothing would be a disaster and let’s face it that’s exactly what would happen.

Imagine how pissed Bayern and their Pletti-pawns would get if he turned them down now, after months of negotiation. It would be glorious!

(Unfortunately can't see it happening myself)

He won’t. All the supposed indecision and this weekend’s deadline were only a ruse to get Bayern to pay up. Levy and Kane probably cooked it up together.

If Kane turns down Bayern, we soo need a live feed of that helicopter landing pad forehead Plettenbergs face as he cries the sweet sweet tears of rejection

Last Bundesliga-based player to win the Ballon D'or?

Unless I'm reading it wrong.

Mattias Sammer in 1996, and before that, Rumminigge in 80 and 81...

Now, Real... Barca... there he wins it.
