Germany's a bad place to raise a kid. They'll be German, for fucks sake. Do the smart thing lad.

If this is it, thanks for everything, H.

And well done to Levy for making Bayern blink. Don't think him leaving now or two weeks ago has any impact, given Richarlison is the replacement and we just signed Veliz.

Why on Earth would we accept the bid now so late in the day??

Or, as The Goat and others said, we knew a week ago that Bayern had made a bid that we deemed acceptable. I can't decide if the ITKs are a week ahead of everyone or if things are changing daily. I suspect it's a mixture of both.

We've rejected £86m on Sunday and accepted it today? What?
Wasn't the talk from the itks that the structure was the issue

They have probably came back without all the add ons and just a lump sum.

If anything this news just shows the info to be right. Trix said they could come back and they obviously have

We should have set a deadline for this weeks ago and stuck to our guns.

Absolutely ridculous accepting a fee so late in the window and so self-sabotaging.
This is a few weeks earlier than Levy's usual transfer deadline day special!

Personally, and I know some see the sense in recouping a transfer fee, I think accepting a bid for your best (ever?) player 2 days before the season starts is criminal.
Agree but having the transfer window close significantly after the season starts is always going to result in this crap.

It was always likely that they would meet the asking price eventually. Would be embarrassing for them to publicly target him for this long and then fail. Their ego's couldn't take the L.

One way or other, saga will come to an end now with Harry saying yes or no.
All I want is some certainty at this point, whatever the decision is

Agree, It’s farcical. Has Maddison and Richy even played a min of pre season together? Maybe behind closed doors but not in a televised match as far as I recall. Ange must be furious. Fact is this should have been wrapped up ether way last weekend the latest.

No matter what happens, it's hard not to think this has massively impacted on our preseason preparations on and off the pitch.

I hope Kane immediately comes out and declares his love for the club and that he's staying. The reality is, this is going to rumble on and we probably won't even have clarity until the team news for Brentford.

The team should be 100% focused on getting ready for that match, instead we've got this shit show.

Not if we set a deadline and then refuse to deal.

It takes two parties for an offer to be accepted.
