Metal Masters?
I haven't a clue tbh.... we have a drummer who is the lexicon of organisation... I just write things on my calendar like "gig munich", "gig belgium" and when things are getting really exotic "gig nuneaton:

It could well be metal masters .... most of the festivals are named summat like that... the Belgium one is called "blast from the past" which is quite upsetting really

I know it’s unlikely but I would love a public statement from the club or HK to say “it’s over”, just so we don’t have it slightly hanging over us until end of August. Until that point, as Herc alludes to, there’s always the risk!

I have mixed emotions. I'm delighted he is going to stay but i am very very concerned about next summer. Will be worse than this year.
Yeah same here, the media will be relentless linking him to Prem rivals all season now, its what they'll do, Ange will be getting tortured after every press conference about it until he either commits or is off elsewhere, not ideal.

I can’t see this happening now, so much noise around this needing to be done before Brentford and if Bayern limped to the the figure of £100 million, then couldn’t even stump most of the cash up I can’t see them dragging that back now. It’s obvious that Kane really isn’t that arsed about joining Bayern as we’ve had none of the city shenanigans nor have the media been suggesting Kane has been applying any pressure for the move. I really hope we just walk away from this now, and roll the dice on Kane. Worse case we get another year with a world class striker in our line up, best case the stars align and he signs an extension. Either option is better than caving in to these clowns at the 11th hour. Give Ange a year to bed in his style with the best squad possible and I guarantee it will be easier to slot in a replacement when everyone else around them has had 12 months to perfect the system/style of play.

You won’t get a statement from our side. You probably will get a load of hatchet job pieces in Bild and across German media to try and make Bayern look like victims and simultaneously frame it as a dodged bullet for Bayern. That will signal that they’ve given up.

Unless Kane signs a new deal, this could end up being the ultimate kicking the can down the road.

I don't think anyone seriously doubts that we will be stronger with Kane in the team this year. But we could be in for an almighty shock next season. I don't buy the idea that we qualify for the Champions League with Harry this year and use that to replace him next season. If incomings were contingent on the Kane deal this summer, I don't see how letting him leave on a free won't affect incomings next summer. Anyway, Levy has never been the kind of owner who has acted like now we're in the Champions League, let's really push on. Quite the opposite in fact.

On a positive note, this season should be a lot of fun with Kane leading the line. I hope we all enjoy it and that it buys time and patience for what could be a difficult second season for Ange.

If Bayern verbally agreed a figure with Levy and this has fallen over because of payment terms, then I’d bet this is still very much doable.

We know Bayern are minted, would they simply not meet Levy’s payment terms and get it done? It’s not like they don’t have the cash.

I’d be surprised if they don’t come back one more time.

Great a whole season of “where is Kane going at the end of his contract” speculation before, during and after each match. Sure Ange will love that 😑

Agreed, I am avoiding any excitement until we reach the weekend. Seems like if he lines up for us on Sunday it will definitely not be happening.

Mate we don't really know what the state of play is, from that previous report Levy has never even given them a figure.

Maybe he's just a lot more enthused about staying here now.

Who knows, maybe after years of playing for coaches like Mourinho, Nuno, Conte and Southgate, Kane is genuinely excited about working with a coach who likes to play on the front foot?

Come on lads worry about next season next bloody season.
This is brilliant news. We retain our truly world class player for another season and let's see where that takes us.
Ange is the perfect man to shoot down questions on Kane in press conferences and we all know Kane ain't going to say much on it so press won't have too much to write about.

What I am looking forward to is Bayern PR machine trying to spin this, bet they are better than Donna "we never wanted Nagelsmann anyway" Cullen

I don’t think it’s ever been about Bayern ‘having the money’ though
