I’m pulling Haaland out Of the fantasy! Fuck it. Kane ain’t moving his whole family to Germany ffs. 5/6 years ago when you’re younger maybe. He’s the best striker in football, got it all. We may lose him next year to an English team but fuck it. Last chance Daniel.

I think it's a number of things tbh. Ange, his family, lack of push from Bayern, Kyle Walker deal not happening, Madison coming in etc etc.

I'll hopefully have a bit more later on today as well on this, to follow up on WLB info and my post from yesterday morning.

Its very complicated and I still wouldn't rule anything out as yet but it's definitely looking more positive if you are in the Kane to stay camp.
This is a massive thing IMO, twice now he's been wanted by big clubs and twice neither have stumped up the money, hes is so underrated it's borderline offensive the offers City and Bayern have made. Kane is a goalscoring machine, broken so many records already, yet we get low ball offers.

If I were Kane id be pissed and offended by the lack of effort these teams have made.

Atleast at Spurs he knows he'd be 100% loved.

I actually think he'll be likely to sign at least a year extension, hopefully at least two like I said earlier. The Euros next year, he won't want the distraction of having to think about possibly moving clubs going into the tournament. Dream scenario would be he signs for 2 more years in the coming weeks, wins the FA cup this season and we make the CL again, England smash it at the Euros with Harry and Maddison's linkup and we go for the league next year. To dare is to do!

I don't interpret this as Kane doing us a big favour. This is Kane wanting the matter settled by a set time and if that doesn't happen he'll see out his contract.

I think Kane is playing this perfectly. I never had much confidence he would head overseas. He's a primo Premier League striker and it's the best league in the world. I understand sticking at Spurs and possibly finishing 8th again is a waste of a key season in his career, but getting locked into a longer term deal overseas never seemed like a good solution to that problem.

The status quo suits him well. He'll have a productive season. We may not have another false dawn. And whether we do or not, he's got all the cards regarding his next move, driving up terms from us to sign on longer, or moving to a PL 'rival'.

I will be disappointed if, next summer, when Kane signs a new deal - the announcement video should be be Ange at a grill, and Kane walking up, saying: "Put another shrimp on the barbie, I'm staying!"
Only if one is wearing a powder blue suit with top hat and cane and the other is wearing an orange suit with top hat and cane.

That account he quoted is someone called Adam Osper a couple years back he used to get some really good info and team news but fell off the face of the earth, there he is!

I seem to remember him being convinced we were going to sign Jordi Clasie, we didn’t and then he disappeared. No idea how I remember that.

With you mate. I meant as in Kane camp just stepping away from both options atm. No way I would move to Germany for work when I’m a multi millionaire footballer, He ain’t going there. Just not gonna happen. You can’t put a price on your mother in law coming over for the afternoon to play with the grandkids and have a coffee at the drop of a hat.

I’ve said the same from the start especially with his wife about the give birth. It’s the time you need the support of your family the most. Plus he’s not going to move out there on his own, he isn’t the type. It’s one of the reasons why I haven’t got it about him wanting to move this summer let alone abroad. Unfortunately I’m usually wrong about most football matters and there’s still plenty of time for someone to come in for him this window. I won’t be comfortable until he’s still here on the 2nd September.

My fear now is he'll join another PL club for free next summer. That's the worst possible outcome out of all of this.

Thats been my fear all along -but we cant do much now. Lets hope we do well this season & change his mind on new deal somehow
