He’d be absolutely mad to sign another contract that’s for sure. Can’t see us selling him in the summer.
We would be foolish not to sell this summer - unless we get a proper owner in - who is committed to winning.

It's pretty obvious that, as a club, we can't afford to throw away that kind of asset for free. We did that with Dele, and are struggling to offload other players. We will be selling at a discount as it is - but we apparently need every sale we can get. And if we have to replace him in 2024 for free - well, lets just say we will be getting what we pay for.

"we already signed his replacement in richarlison" is probably whats going to be said. The 50 mil we get for him will be split up into two buys. 1 young defender from the croatian league and 1 young winger from the championship

I dont think ive ever seen Kane so disinterested in a game before.

took him 20 mins to touch the ball too.

I thought he missed a trick when they kicked the ball out so one of their players could get treatment. When he got the ball back from the throw in he could have done a few keepie uppies to get his touch numbers up.

No chance he will be here next season.
He will break Greaves record and in the summer be off.
Definitely in the prem, where he will win trophies and beat Shearer's record too.
We don't deserve him, Levy/Lewis doesn't do trophies, just balance sheets.
We deserve him. Our owners most certainly don’t

I can't work out if it's best he stays under a new coach, if that coach is better suited to a high intensity game. Or if it'd be a huge mistake to let him go.

On one hand, we won't get a better goalscorer.

On other hand, traditional CFs are not necessarily part of modern succesful teams as you can have a system like Arsenal's or Liverpool's that's full of energy and movement.

Kane kind of goes against that by dropping deep.

Maybe see about replacing Son first to see if it creates that spark of energy again.

Just feel at times we can't pin teams back when Kane isn't exactly putting himself about and Son is well off it.

May be an over reaction from myself and Kane certainly isn't a huge problem but of we want a youthful squad full of energy then modern Kane doesn't fit that as much.

I agree with all of that, however, we've never really had creativity in midfield since we lost Eriksen.

Maybe a new attacking manager could get him staying up top in a more traditional way as he's one of the best finishers in the world, but it would only work if you spent good money on creativity in midfield, and I have my doubts about whether that would happen...

I'm convinced that's what Pep wanted him for, to use him as an elite finisher in and around the box (in the same way he's using Haaland now instead), but that only works as City have the best attacking and creative options to provide for him. We don't. He has to do it all here, and he's incredibly good at it too, but he can't realistically be our number 10 and number 9 combined forever, especially if the squad around him is declining.

I love the guy, he's one of my footballing heros and I'd love for us to improve so much as to convince him that he can compete with us still, but it really doesn't look like happening currently and it's sad.

Kind of what I meant..

But having said that, there are more then a few numpties in the stadium and on here who can't wait to slate him if he hasn't scored or played well.... literally game by game ,after what he has done for us...... disgraceful.

I feel so sorry for Kane. So many people say he is over-rated yet he is probably one of the most under-rated players ever. England and Tottenham would literally be nowhere without him. His form is consistently world class season after season. It can only be because he is not a knob celebrity footballer and talks with a bit of a lisp. Perhaps because he hasn’t lifted a trophy. He is wasted on England fans. I hate celebrity culture! He is the type of footballer every kid in England should look up to.
Will be the best footballer in the world never to win a trophy and will be slaughtered which is a joke. (Mate who is not one of us said it to me) and worried it’s so true. BUT we have faith, we are spurs ??

I actually feel like we should let him go because our over-reliance on him has become part of the problem for us over the years - more especially as he's lost all dynamism he had in his days under poch.

There's just not enough movement or pressing from him apart from dropping deep and attempting to play through the likes of son - but now that's become too predictable and its now never working.

I'm currently about 60-40 against conte staying. I just don't see us improving under him in the short term unless we spend half a billion on players and has a week to prepare for each game.

Like the ITK were saying he's waiting to see If we're going to back him or not otherwise he won't commit and we all know what Levy is like

Does anyone know he running stats today?
Back to Nuno levels by the look of him.
Not good at all~
I know this will be unpopular opinion but bar his goals mainly from set pieces has masked his overall performances.
He has not looked interested and playing within himself all season.

He’s been playing within himself and pacing himself for years and I can’t blame him

Flogged to death by this club and nowhere near enough support with quality players around him

Must be gutted to see the form of Sonny

True Sonny form has fallen off a cliff at the worse possible time.
