I wonder if he will be a Totti like figure for us like Roma. Playing his entire career for us. It is going to take a Salah like package to keep him.

This is where Conte is so good for us. He wont take any mucking around and Levy and the club will have to show their true colours.

I don’t disagree, the pressure on Levy is huge right now, he simply has to get it right this summer.

Is it silly to say the pressure couldn't be any less for Levy?

All he's got to do is back the gaffer, and respected members of this site have told us that's exactly what is happening behind the scenes.

I've got a feeling that dear Mr Levy is rather relaxed about things moving forward. If anything, he'll respect that Conte has come in and laid down some hard truths about the club, and what it needs to do to become challengers.

I hope he isn’t relaxed, if he is he has learnt nothing from his errors in the past. We have a long way to go, while things have improved we are still trophy less and have no reason to sit around feeling relaxed, need to roll up sleeves and get to work. There is a major difference between improving results a bit and becoming a contender.

Kane leaving is partly about backing the manager but it all depends on how much emphasis and importance Kane has on playing CL football next season (if we dont get CL this season). Ofcourse we are still in control so we can essentially back the Manager and not give a shit what Kane wants int he summer

Anyways NLD is now on 12th May - how fun

The most Premier League goals at one club is currently:
184 - Sergio Aguero (Manchester City; 2011/12 - 2020/21)

Harry's up to 178 goals for us now so there's a chance he could break the record by the end of the season. We're playing a few of his favourite teams during that time as well.

But if he doesn’t he’ll have to stay at least one more season to break it ;)

I think Benzema’s incredible form at the age of 34 is rather helpful. He is absolutely world class and getting better.

It reinforces that there is no rush for a player like Kane, who has a tremendous all round game and doesn’t rely on pace, to be moving on. He should have at least 6 more years at the top

I get what you are saying, but if I was Kane, would pmsl laughing if Spurs actually had the gall to tell him that after he has already given us what he has, and seen the club stick the thing in hard reverse when we were so close. Btw, I know you are not saying that too. Just made me chuckle imagining Levy telling him he is still learning the game, best for his development to stay put, and, if he stays patient, he will get his big move when he is 32.

No reason he can't follow Benzema and Lewandowski and play to the highest level for a number of years yet.
Enjoy him while he's here because regardless how long he goes on I do think we'll have had his best years though.

It still baffles me how so many other rival fans are clueless to just how good he is.

Although I think it's secretly jealousy rather than being that stupid, but I see so many rival fans saying he's nothing special/tap-in merchant/any other bullshit excuse they can think up.

Time will tell how good it is.

Does it reaĺy matter how many goals one player gets. Its about winning things and Kane would proberbly give most up if the odd goal was a winner in a final.

Take Kanes penalties away, he has scored the same a Charlton, just saying.
I think you mean same as Rooney? In far less games is still pretty impressive.

Yeah, got it wrong. Not sure what point I was making. I hate stats, beat them up , they will say anything.
Maybe, Its not about how many you score , it's all about when you score.

I think this applies to most people but if you’re very happy in your life which he seems to be right now there’s no real urgency to look for something better. And as said seeing the likes of Ronaldo and Benzema he could just run his contract down and at 31 in this form he could pick any club in world football as a free, if it hasn’t happened at Spurs.
