Wonder how much he'll go for next summer if he has a mediocre season.

Unless we give a new contract with a reasonable release clause - I can't see him trying this year tbh

When you start stripping away fan loyalty ( which is clearly underway) and the gloss of the goals there’s not a whole lot to like about him. Absolutely zero personality or charisma and you can kind of see where opposition fans been coming from all these years. I think it’s quite telling seeing he’s such a “ superstar “ and England captain that no Spurs manager has seen fit to place him as captain. Am I turning on him yes, his behaviour in the summer was despicable and I actually think we let him off pretty lightly. And his effort so far this season bordering on atrocious as well. I really don’t think he’s got as much credit in the bank with the media or Spurs fans as he might think. This could all go wrong for him very quickly if he doesn’t pull his finger out.
I think it would be harsh to remove the captaincy from Lloris and hand it to Kane, whilst the former is still at the club. If there was ever a time to do it, it would have been just after Lloris was caught drunkenly staggering out of the driver's seat of his car. Sorry for discussing something off topic, but I still find it kind of odd that he didn't lose the captaincy for that. Anyway, that's for a different thread.

Agree . Our club has no discipline, Kane is still standing over free kicks as well

Just thinking about it, Kane is one of the big reasons we havent been a complete disaster in the last few seasons. Like him or not after this summer, without his goals and assists, we would be have finished a lot lower then we have. Yes i know Son is almost as pivotal, but how many of Sons goals has Kane laid on for him. The fact is, with Kane looking a shadow of his former self, then we are seriously f**ked. Regardless of if you think he was right to want out or think he's an assholes asshole its really not surprising his mind isn't in it. Especially considering the tactical mess we are. I said previously that i think this will be his worst season in a Spurs shirt, i know he often has a slow start to the season, but i haven't seen anything to suggest he will bring it together or the tactics will improve enough to help him refined his form.

When Kane puts in a poor performance the spotlight is hugely on him and he put that pressure on himself by saying he wanted to reach Messi/Ronaldo levels , the thing is when he’s crap he offers nothing . He’s never been the Ronaldo type to have a bad game but still find a way to carve out a goal or Messi type and carve out something magic .

Kane believes he is a de bruyne type / peak Rooney type of player now

His injury’s and ankles have stopped him being the striker we knew , hasn’t been the same Kane since . The Liverpool 4-1 game at Wembley was the last game I ever remember Kane looking frightening for a centre back he got a late injury that day and even though he scored lots that season and in seasons since he hasn’t been that same beast .

Even now it’s rare to see him hit a shot from outside the box with any real back lift or height or dynamism .

He needs that hunger for goals back , Southgate got him playing deep first for England and with Sterling , Jose kept stroking that ego because Jose likes “team players” he would prefer a team player Kane than the selfish Kane who scores stacks of goals. Kane wanted to reach Messi/ Ronaldo levels well you can’t do that with 20 goals a season you need far more than that

We need that selfish goalscorer back

Agree with most pundits and people on here that as a team we need him to stop dropping deep. Lead the fucking line dude. I cant remember which ex player it was but one said as you get older you want to be "out of the trenches" more.

If he is determined to be a number 10 then start playing him behind Scarlett or Son (who is older than him which somewhat contradicts what ex player said) in a front 4.

I think it was Souness who made that comment Sunday.

Absolutely bang on
When was the last time this so-called superstar grabbed hold of a game and showed the team - This is how you do it.
Sorry to say but Kane believes all the hype written and to speak about himself in the same way as Jimmy Greaves was not only laughable but disrespectful to a true superstar

Needs to improve, but we also need better ball progression (Traore best on planet Earth at doing that), our attackers won't see plenty of action unless they drop deeper which creates other problems. 4 shots from Kane this season so far.

No matter how good he can be, I will never understand why anyone thinks it's a good idea to select/persevere with a player who simply doesn't want to be here.

Those that do, and are willing to put in the effort, and actually get positive results before he walked straight back into the team must be peeved about it behind closed doors.

Should concentrate more on the collective & just drop the prick.

Has all the feelings of the Van Dijk transfer to Liverpool right now. If Man City continue to stutter a bit and we go nowhere I can see Kane moving in January like Van Dijk did with Liverpool.

The only reservation I had over selling Kane to Manchester City was that he will go there and look amazing because he will be given a lot of tap ins. Also by selling him to a competitor concedes any pretence of us going for a League Title in the next few years but we are so far away from bouncing back into a title race that it's time to sell and rebuild and wait out Klopp and Pep. We also have no chance of getting into the title race like we were in a few years ago unless we stumble on a Super Manager like Poch or have the money to buy players. Levy and Lewis aren't going to put any money in so we have to generate some funds by selling Kane to continue the rebuild.

Kane will still look amazing at Man City but I'm not sure Kane has enough to drag the mediocre team that we are into the Champions League. 120m and I sell.

We're sitting 10th & Kane has just started to play really well with the transfer window just about to open. City tell us 100m take it or leave it?

What’s the point getting Neto or Traore when we’ll have zero senior centre forwards at the club?

Don't worry when Kane leaves we'll offer Everton and Fiorentina a take it or leave it loan with free transfer offer for DCL and Vlahovic.

And then when they shockingly fail we'll land up and coming starlet Jincent Vanssen. He's been smashing the back doors off the Mexican 2nd division.

I literally feel nothing when he scores now and it looks he doesn’t either just muted celebrations let’s see what he does if he scores Sunday

Sure his wife’s latest Instagram post is a weird form of cryptic

1) bit weird saying you feel nothing for him but follow his wife on Instagram

2) her post was her and two kids at the match on Sunday. Where’s the cryptic?
