Honestly, if I did a big food shop at M&S or something and the cashier said it came to £150 and I smiled and pulled out £130, the only response I could legitimately expect would be 'Help security, nutter at checkout number 9!'

The cashier would say “hi again mr levy” ?

City fans are really clueless and entitled.

OK. How about openly raising questions about his future to a Sky audience?

Disrupting his manager's pre-season by not returning to training on time, when every other member of every other international squad did so (some even returned early)?

How about complaining about fan treatment of him when he was criticised for the above?

Surely those could be classed as 'causing a fuss', no?
I will answer in parts.

I couldn't give a stuff what he says on TV. It is about actions rather than words.

The return to training is disputed by him. I don't know who is to believe.

Re the complaining about fan treatment (on twitter?), see point 1. Could not care less.

I can't see how any of your points is kicking up a fuss.

Anyway, each to their own. That is what opinions and these forums are for.

He is staying, and I am happy.

Yes, but Haaland and his dad doesn’t seem to be the types that go for the money alone. They will talk to all the clubs, and decide which club is best for Haaland. If they decide that is City, it won’t matter how much money PSG throws at Raiola.
Lol we will see.

Now you're backtracking. You said he didn't cause a fuss, not what you personally thought of his actions.

So when people moan about him doing things other chairmen do in he future will you say "well, it's hardly a stance that hasn't been made many times by clubs in the past"?
No. I’m saying it now. About this. Because it’s true.

Credit Levy for sticking to his guns but he’s not the only reason Kane stays. If City offered his value, he’d be gone. That’s it.

Was this just a way for you to tell us you shop at M&S?

If so, kudos!

Long term (guest) lurker and previous SC member but reinstated as a new member, former COYS member but got ditched for saying nothing. Know fuck all about football but have a love/hate relationship with Spurs. Glad Kane is staying but wouldn’t have been disappointed if he’d gone. The club is bigger than the players. COYS
PS. Bit drunk and gonna go back to lurking. Thanks to all for for the info and entertainment this summer

Glad he is staying. Not changing my vote.

I am wondering whether the club will make a statement about the saga. I think its clear that City has been in Kanes ear behind the scenes, tapping him up. They even went so far as to have Pep talk about him in a press conference. Wankers.
