Is this a dig at Kane or the club I wonder? It should be a dig at Kane, but you never know.

He's the one who decided he needed an extra week when the club wanted him back, and then decided to take that week in a place where he needed to quarantine when coming home.

Disappointing that he wasn’t forced to sit on the bench at the very least. I can understand Nuno not picking him though, doesn’t send out a very good message to the likes of Ndombele about turning up to training fit etc.

Exactly. He’s gone. I’m so upset. I really thought we’d do enough to keep him. Not looking good now. Another nail in the coffin for my love of spurs and football.
It's not about what we do to keep him. Forget what he says about the club or fans, his only intention now is to go to City. They pay up he goes simple as that. We could go out and spend 100 mil tomorrow, it won't make a difference.

looking at that team today, we bloody need to, even if Kane did stay! Just not good enough for where we want to be.

I don't get it, if a deal for Kane is done and the reason for the silence is to give us time to sign a replacement without the "Kane money" sign hangning over our heads, is not even having him on the bench not giving our hand away?

The same goes if we're playing hard ball with City. It feels like our position weakens either way :(

Ok let's put it another way. Prior to this window an injured Kane still turns up today and sits in the stands. He's down in the dressing room pre game talking to the boys etc. Anyone defending him or talking about him signing a new deal for any other reason than to make it easier to leave at a later date is kidding themselves.

Thing is, why do we want to keep Kane if this is a season of transition and we are nowhere near Top-4? What is the point? Win the Conference League? Get 7th again? Finish above Arsenal?
Find a decent replacement, take the petrol money and run. The guy burned the bridges anyway.

Whether he stays or goes, having him at the stadium today would have been a huge mistake.

“We’ll give everything and whatever happens” if that’s the sort of attitude we’re posting out on social media.
Weak ass mentality we have as a club
not sure why you got peppered with Disagrees and wtf on this, as i totally agree. Strange post by Tottenham indeed

Kane ain't playing for us again. I couldn't care less if it was announced during the game but he should never kick another ball for Spurs again.

Won't be fitness. Probably not committed enough, we saw how his interview negatively affected the squad before the villa game. He'll be kept away until gone or recomitted.

Hopefully fined to the hilt at the moment for letting the club and fans down.

Yep. He will be sitting there wanting them to win. That’s how bad it’s got. I just hope the players don’t miss him. They looked like they were going to a funeral when walking around the pitch.

It goes back to the pettiness he showed by not acknowledging the club's birthday wishes or wishing the rest of the team good luck in the friendlies etc. He can get in the bin.
