maybe, but you put him in a top team and he'd flourish.probably get slaughtered for this but I think Kanes golden years have been and gone. See the posts above about limited movement, pace, jumping ability. We as a club must take full responsibility for that as we’ve flogged him into the ground.
don’t get me wrong he’s still a fantastic player and one I want to keep to the end of his playing days but personally I think peak Kane has been and gone.
He is still far above any average premier league striker even if he is not quite the player he was.Kane has not been anything close to as good as some of these people making comments like "he needs to give the club an ultimatum" are making out to be. I think he has been a distinctly average Premier League striker for over a season now, one with severely limited physicality (pace looks gone, can't jump for 50/50s anymore it seems) and poor holdup play but with elite finishing ability and a penchant for being in the right position in the box.
I wouldn’t consider it myself but I wouldn’t blame Kane for considering it himself.Would anyone else consider selling him if an offer of £100m came in? I feel like we may need to make a tough decision and allowing Kane to leave for the right amount might be good in the long term.

I would sell him for £100m. The club and you lot might be a bit annoyed with me, but I don’t care as I'd be rich.Would anyone else consider selling him if an offer of £100m came in? I’m slowly coming round to the scenario that Kane will demand a transfer next window and it might be the only way we can save ourselves to sell him.
As much as it would pain me to let him go I think there is a definite question mark over his physical capabilities going forward. He’ll always score goals, but maybe in a team like we are gonna be for while where we don’t dominate possession or the opposition, we might need someone explosive up top to let us break out.
There’s a doubt who could afford him with COVID, whether anyone abroad wants him still at a top-end price, whether both Manchester clubs might sniff around. If we could get £140m-160m then we could reinvest in the defence, DM, and a striker like Victor Osimhen for £70m we could come out of it with a better team.
It sucks that it may come to that, but I think we should prepare ourselves.
Is he at his peak? I’m not so sure. He’ll still be a dominant PL player, at City he’d score bucket loads and break Shearer’s record, but I don’t see the dynamic player of 2017 returning.I think City will come in for him. Aguero is gradually beginning to fade, still a great player, but I think Pep could see KDB and Sterling supplying Kane the sort of quality that could set serious records.
I really don't want us to lose him but i think its practically inevitable.
He's in his peak, now or never sort of thing, and we're miles off.

I sort of agree, if we're fundamentally not a functioning team yet and probably won't be for at least another year or so, there's almost no point to having Kane around in a way.I’m slowly coming round to the scenario that Kane will demand a transfer next window and it might be the only way we can save ourselves to sell him.

The risk being, that if you take him out of our side and buy badly, then we could drop like a stone into West Ham levels of trouble.I sort of agree, if we're fundamentally not a functioning team yet and probably won't be for at least another year or so, there's almost no point to having Kane around in a way.
We've got to get back to being a difficult to beat, aggressive, balanced side with a solid work rate first and foremost.
I think we've got to risk it somewhat now. Whether that's maybe over stretching financially or considering offers for Kane. I don't think a quiet understated window without structural change is going to do a great deal to fix things. The risk being, that if you take him out of our side and buy badly, then we could drop like a stone into West Ham levels of trouble.
There’s also the psychological affect it could have on the club and wether losing such a talisman would rip the already damaged heart out so to speak.
In some ways, I wish Kane would just go for broke and threaten Levy with leaving unless he sees major changes and quality brought in. With, Levy’s ego it probably wouldnt work, but it would be interesting.
Agree him and Sterling have great chemistry and respect between each other. Always vote each other for the player of the season. Can see sterling pushing it with pep. And who wouldn’t want to coach him. Some FB in exchange and £100m would be good.I think City will come in for him.
