To lose weight you need to increase the amount of energy you use through physical activity and/or reduce the amount of energy you take in through food and drink. Anyone who tells you anything else is generally more interested in lightening your wallet than you or a crank. As for a six pack, the only people I know with six packs are my daughters so you could try 15+ hours of intensive gymnastics training a week.
