I don't care if he's left, he'll still be in my Tottenham Football Manager team in this year's game thanks to FM Editor.

I don’t begrudge Kane the move and I wish him well - he’s been unbelievable for us. What’s so depressing about this is that we’ve let it run on until the opening day of the season and we have no discernible plan to spend the money. They’ve known he was likely to leave for ages. It should have been done and the replacements in, or at least lined up.

It feels like every year we handicap ourselves through brinkmanship, penny pinching, lack of any clear direction, or this year, selling our best goal scorer in living memory 48 hours before the first game.

I honestly do feel optimistic about our future under Ange but he’s been put on the back foot almost immediately. No real surprise though, I guess.

We should comfortably be able to do these deals without selling Kane - look what Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea are doing.

We’re royally getting the piss taken out of us by our owners and it’s sickening.

I feel really sorry for Ange as I think he could be a special manager but once again he’s going to be hamstrung by our board of clowns
Pin this to the top of the thread. Absolute sense.

We will persist without him. World class player but he’s looked detached from the club since his failed move to City. Time to reinvest in a young team and move forward.

Have fun in a farmers league, Harry.

I guess the good news is that we won't have to see him every week when he goes.

He'll be banging in goals that no one in England will see.

He'll be wearing a pair of Skechers that no one will buy.

He'll lift the trophy that Hojberg already won 4 times with Bayern, and he'll likely go out in the round of 16 of the Champions League.

He'll just be another goal scorer not named Alan Shearer, remembered along with other good goal scorers on the list like Jermaine Defoe.

He'll probably be in Augsburg in front of 20k people when his kid is born in London.

He'll never hear "He's One of Our Own Again."
Catching up on the last 30 pages but had to reply on this one. It’s fucking epic and I read it all in my head in the voice of Tyler Durden from Fight Club.

It shouldn't have, however its as much to do with kane and bayern fucking around.
Kane is as much to blame as Levy. For all the bullshit talk of “protecting his legacy” he’s left us in the lurch. While Levy has fucked the team over for whats a paltry sum.

Seriously though, what's happened to Fati? I thought he was the great Spanish hope and their youngest ever scorer in an International game.
Had a few nasty knee injuries but he still played 51 games for Barcelona last season. He is a genuine world class talent if he can stay fit and continues to develop - serious worries about those knees though.,

Mural should be painted over and he shouldn’t get a statue.

I actually think Fati is worth the risk - still only 20 years old. However I thought Schurrs would have been a cheaper target had Kane stayed and so that would be very underwhelming. If Richarlison is injured for over a month or so, we also need a striker.
I don't particularly want Fati, but I think the reaction to the link is way over the top. 125 minutes per goal contribution in La Liga last year for a Barca team who only scored 70 goals is pretty good. He only started 12 of those matches.
