The point is to cover the difference of what a club next year might have to pay so if they have to pay THFC 20m and reduce HK's deal by 20M, he's already had that 20M.

I’m not sure anyone is saying a deal was done. It was saying the fee had been agreed but it seems now that a fee has not been agreed.

I don't think that was said either tbh. Just that they had offered pretty much what we had been asking for and that's not the same thing. I'll be honest I've not kept up with what everyone else was saying on the forums which is why I have asked to be pointed to the posts. What I will say though is we were all pretty much in agreement bts that the offer would likely be enough, but even there no one had said the fee had been agreed etc. I know I personally have said a couple of times since though that I didn't think it was on.

Don’t need to justify anything mate, we all know ITK is a fluid beast that changes from one minute to the next.
