I reckon it's been agreed last night and all parties keeping quiet until we get some players in by next week. They'll want to create the illusion it's still up in the air.

There will be a forward or two coming in next week, Kane will be left out for Brentford and it'll be official a day or so later. Rest of the window will be spent loaning and selling other players and second CB will depend on that.

I'm clinging to the hope that none of the press have gone with 'it's done' yet....ours or the Germans (unless ive missed something?)
Im mentally prepared for it, it feels inevitable, but that's when i'll accept it's done.

Bild going with the Levy on Holiday bit now:

I think that's the cover for the delay allowing us to sign a few players with the money before it becomes official.

If we get movement on attackers or a 2nd CB soon I think the writing is on the wall.

Perhaps. But other than Muani, we are only really being linked with players we Already had enough money to sign anyway on deals we should already have done.

I dont mean from a playing perspective, but from an appearance on the pitch at half time etc...
I wondered that too, but I doubt it as he will probably be off to Germany immediately. Also, they might wonder if he will be cheered ,or booed for leaving!

I guess it’s true when sir Alex Ferguson said “dealing with levy is worse than hip replacement” with all the media access we have today, we do get a good look at how he conducts business, and what a hard ass he is to deal with! This saga has gone on the whole summer!

anyway to get 100m out of this is the best outcome for both Bayern and us, so I’m content. I just hope we spend wisely and not waste it!

Gazza, Klinsmann, Sheringham, Campbell, Berbatov, Keane, Modric, Bale.
We have been here a few times in my spurs supporting lifetime and each time we have ended up being fine. The anticipation is what kills not the fall. It’s been a while since we have had to deal with this and with Kane going and Lloris off it really is the end of that Poch team.

sad he is going but excited for a fresh start. My expectations for the immediate future are not great but I think we could really build something if Ange is given time.

This is probably BS, but i'd so love it to be true :ROFLMAO:

Why? If the offer wasn't acceptable i'd rather we just outright rejected it and kept him here for the season. I'm in the sell camp but we can't let negotiations drag on into next week.

Does Kane get the longest player thread trophy from this site? 🏆

This smacks to me of a done deal.
If it is done and we are just keeping it under wraps so we can line up our next moves how long can we realistically hold off from an announcement. Realistically if he’s gone he won’t be involved at all tomorrow.

Really hope the holiday thing isn't true, I'm ready for this to be done and move on.
No chance this was getting done with a home game tomorrow. Levy will want it done after, especially with the game next week being away. Perfect for him to let the storm settle and bring players in before we face Utd. Those first few days are going to be the worst and fan reaction would be heated.
