We can pay good wages and he loves us right? Right??Can't see him ever returning after he goes. We'd have to be something special by then because he'd still be on mega wages.

Was he fit in any finals? How have we held him back, as someone pointed out to me, where was he in the finals he played in, he certainly didn't do a 'Ronaldo' and drag the team to victory.
If (big if) Kane invited him over, is that still considered tapping? I think that’s one of the hardest things to prove IMO.No hint of tapping up there then.
Absolutely no chance he'll do that.My husband (chelsea supporter) talked about him going there and I honestly felt sick. Does anyone think he would? I'm not sure how loyal he actually is as it's not clear as he is very professional.
Someone said they wouldn't be surprised if we cashed in from his world cup form. I wouldn't be against selling and replacing with someone more consistent. If Kane does go I wonder what we do with Richy. Really he should be our next CF in that eventuality otherwise why did we spend 60/70 mil on him, or whatever the final figure was. For me personally I have doubts about him taking that spot but being realistic if we go and spend another 60+ mil on a striker what’s the point in keeping him.
I thought we didn't want Levy making these decisions. We can’t let this drag on. Levy needs to make a decision if we’re going to sell him this summer. If he isn’t adverse to it, he needs to say to Bayern “the fee is Xm, and you have until the day before we leave for the tour to offer that amount, or we will cut off any communication”.
This idea that he would have the liberty to decide to go to Munich for two years and then just come back to England if he fancied it is such a strange fan creation, when we would be looking at Munich paying 80+ million for him.He goes to Bayern then he has a serious chance of the German treble and a real chance of winning the CL. He may believe it's worth giving that two years and see from there and who could blame him.
Replacing him is going to be very difficult if he does go, be it this yr or next yr.
Totally agree mate but I think we should sign a young but high quality back-up to Richy as Richy is injury prone and hasn't done it in a Spurs shirt yet but I do think he actually suits Ange's style of football really really well as that high energy pressing n.o9 like he is for Brazil. With a run of game and confidence in a system that suits him he could fly but its a risk so 100% we need to sign an alternative just in case Richy doesn't live up to it and/or gets injured, or another top quality wide man and Sonny goes up top if needed as he'd also be ideal as that pressing n.o9 for Ange.If Kane does go I wonder what we do with Richy. Really he should be our next CF in that eventuality otherwise why did we spend 60/70 mil on him, or whatever the final figure was. Of course not. But that doesn’t mean you have to wish him well if he leaves on a free to another top 6 English club. Wouldn’t be as bad a former centre half of ours but it would be as bad as when Teddy left and he hits dogs abuse for years when he returned to play against us - until he re-signed for usOh come off it let's be real, we're lucky he's hung around this shit show the last few years. He doesn't owe us anything.
For sure they're not paying that money for him and giving him a 2-3 year deal. It'll be 5 years and he'll need to be prepared to see it out if needs be, which is one of the main reasons I can't see him there. That's the best years of the end of his career spent winning a couple of trophies that nobody that Harry Kane cares about, cares about. This idea that he would have the liberty to decide to go to Munich for two years and then just come back to England if he fancied it is such a strange fan creation, when we would be looking at Munich paying 80+ million for him.
There are only 3 people I would target:The other big Q would be who on earth do we sign to replace him?
Richy up top as a pressing n.o9 under Ange like he is for Brazil and with the goals being spread around the team a lot more could be exciting but with his injury record and lack of form for us so far we'd 100% need to sign another top striker option, ideally of good quality but also aged around 22-25 to set us up long-term.
Kyogo from Celtic is class and I do think he could do a job for us in our squad in the PL but he is 28 I think and just signed a new 4 year deal so that is not an option and really we probably need someone of better quality than him coming in.
If Toney wasn't banned he'd be an interesting option but perhaps not suited as a pressing type forward, Watkins at Villa would be but doubt they'll sell and not 100% sure either of them are quite good enough so we'd probably then be looking abroad at options.
I thought we didn't want Levy making these decisions.
Most likely depends how they progress over the next year. As it does with any of the clubs people assume he would leave us to go to on a free. Nothing to say Chelsea will make a dramatic recovery from this season. And Ten Haag might struggle to do much more than he has already. So Kane’s “options” for 24/25 might not look all that attractive this time next year from a football perspective - albeit the financial package would be.My husband (chelsea supporter) talked about him going there and I honestly felt sick. Does anyone think he would? I'm not sure how loyal he actually is as it's not clear as he is very professional.
