Might register for Twitter just to tell him to go fuck himself.
He’s pissing on us all and trying to convince us it’s raining.
Ha! I don't know if this is the reference you had in your head, but it's perfect for the current scenario

Post of the year.Great and next season if another player decides he wants out he can just do the same or maybe it'll be two of them or three of them. Easy, just book a weeks extra holiday and get a move to another club on your return. I mean every club we ever tried to sell to would be telling the players to do exactly the same.
"Yeah we want to buy your client but fuck paying what Spurs want. Tell him to be a prick for a few days and they'll sell him for a much reduced price, and we can make it worth your while".
Exactly that. It's a holding statement. Neither one thing nor the other and demonstrates that he and is dipshit brother/'agent' are still not understanding the situation. In my opinion, this statement is intentionally ambiguous and will not be the last one he makes. He clearly feels that the City move may not transpire and wants to save a little bit of face in case he has to return with his tail between his legs, but he also doesn't want to commit towards staying or apologising on the off chance that he gets his move.
At the end of all this there will be a second, probably pre-written statement either apologising and committing to stay, or thanking the fans following his move. This statement says nothing and is a total waste of fucking time, a pathetic attempt to pacify a situation caused and made worse by himself.
I'd never boo any player wearing our shirt, but total silence when his name is read out, or fans turning their backs when he does the walking over to the fans clapping after a game would speak volumes.
Haven't seen that film for years now - probably 20 of them!I thought it was from Trainspotting when they shot the dog in the ass.
With Paratici as Dragon?Ha! I don't know if this is the reference you had in your head, but it's perfect for the current scenario
