Indeed, it's been that way for every high profile striker ever.

I'm sure that quote will draw the sour responses though :D

Yeah why don't you do something useful Kane .....

Like be hands down the best and most consistent goalscorer we have had at this club in my life time, score tons against our rivals like arsenal and Chelsea. If you could add creativity and being a brilliant passer too.

Useless twat.

I feel sorry for him. If we separate all the nonsense in the summer and just look at the actual situation - a drought happens to the best of them - I remember it happening to Shearer and people questioning if he'd lost his touch and he'd always bounce back. It must be playing on Kane's mind and the current situation must be frustrating because all he'll want to do is get out there and try to get himself back amongst the goals.

Well I still love Harry. It would be impossible not to get disillusioned with this football club when he knows he can win everything with some others. We've not supplied him with teammates that are worthy of him and its that simple. I think he'll bounce back but we should support him while he's trying to. Top 4 will rely on him.

There'd be less 'noise' about the lack of goals if you upped the work rate. Pretty sure, the goals would then come but even if they didn't, fans would respect the effort.

Not sure there's been a lack of effort recently. First few games he played when he returned maybe, but that's not a problem now from what I've watched.

Though I think you give your season the basis in summer/fall to get up to speed physically and also mentally to go with confidence into the hot phase of the season.

Agree he seems more into it under Conte but he would probably be more productive now if he had shown 100% all season.

I think that's fair. The actual lack of effort now though is unjustified.
