Sounds like a typical Chelsea solution. Throw some money at the problem and try to fix all the problems that have been created by throwing money at it.
Which is very relatable to our problems the latter years: we don’t throw money at our problems - that have been created by not throwing money at them.

No we shouldn't riot. The atmosphere was great on Saturday and should remain this way. We may think we need players x y and z but that doesn't mean we do. Most didn't even know this guy existed a few weeks ago and people are getting worked up about it. We've had plenty of transfer windows where people complain about leaving ourselves short only to finish top 4. Fact is we don't know what we need or if what we have can work with Ange. Signs so far are good so maybe we should just get behind the team. If it turns bad and becomes clear we needed players then by all means let Levy know about it. Until that happens the mood should be positive.
I despise ENIC and will celebrate the day they go but I agree in the sense that during the game we should be cheering the team on.

Before and afterwards though and coordinating campaigns to hurt their wallet are more than fair game though.

I'd also suggest people shouldnt be changing their views on if they do or don't get a shiny new toy in a transfer window.

Well I guess not throwing money and fixing our biggest problems. It’s not like we haven’t spent at all, especially since we got Paratici.

Eccleshare saying that he's had a scan today, hence the rumor mill going strong. Still no news about any injury.

Well he is hardly going to be wearing a protective boot if the issue is with his head is it?

Not sure why Eccleshare had to state the obvious

At what point in the window does Gent say they're not going to sell any more? I'm getting worried about the lack of movement on our side will cause no more signings and if we made just one more signing I hope it's Orban.

When the deadline is past.

For Gent getting a premier fee is a huge deal. It pays the wages, or for a massive upgrade in youth and training facilities etc etc. They're not gonna be like "but what about our ability to get a settled XI in time for [eg] the Cercle Brugge game"

Honestly feel that if we sign him on deadline day we would see someone like Veliz go there on loan so they are not left short

More likely Scarlett or Parrott, which would be a win/win
Either would be fine but not sure about Parrott. He has to break through now or be sold I would think. Maybe 1 more loan but really he needs to play at the top level to see if he can cut it. He's 21 now, same age as Orban.

Could very well be that we are waiting to see if any smaller clubs come to an agreement for Orban and then we come in and match. Let them do the negotiating.

Loan Scarlett to a Belgian or Norwegian team and see if he can do the business for a season. Buying these types of players is too risky, most will flop when stepping up to the top tier of football.

Norwegian season began in April and ends in early December so I guess Belgium is the real option.
