You’d imagine that if it is possible, levy will want all sorts of appearance clauses on both the fee and in bales contract.
I will be amazed if RM don’t try and sell Bale in the summer. Considering the season they are having I can see them going balls deep for Hazard and Bale, with his injury record and rediculous contract, being the patsy as it were. Saying that, the only team I can see him going to is Utd, they have money to burn, we don’t. I actually think he will go for a cut price, RM will want to make anything they can on a player who spends more time on the treatment table then the starting 11 and will hope the signing of some like Hazard will cover up any public outrage at the financial loss. But even if he goes for 40/50 mil he will still want big wages and even if we can afford them, we need to be spending them on players that will be fit for 80/90% of our games not 50%. I love Bale, and would love to see him back, but if we have a chance (according to ITK) of getting Pulisic, he would be the wiser move. Unless Bale is injury free.. which he probably never will be.
the stadium will be ready but a bit embarrassing showing bale waving to the crowd, only to have him turn and go back to the treatment tables before the match begins....The only reason I think it might happen is the new stadium. Always thought Levy would want a marquee signing as the poster boy. And you couldn’t really get more perfect than bale. Levy may just look at it as a loss leader. In that it may not make the best sense financially at first glance. But the kudos and spin offs may make it worthwhile. I’m pretty sure there will be a marquee signing, just a question if bale fits the bill.
Looks like he needs to drop about a stone in weight and get back to the long distance runner physique he had with us. Think he's just carrying too much muscle
Dele kane Bale
Come on defy anyone not to be excited by that.

The Spanish giants have placed Manchester United, Chelsea and Spurs on alert as the Bernabeu hierarchy have become increasingly frustrated with his injuries.
The latest, a thigh problem suffered while attempting to return after a nagging calf injury, is likely to rule the 28-year-old forward out for the rest of the year.
Real Madrid are now open to the offers for their £85million star, who in more than four years in La Liga has won the Champions League three times, the Spanish title once and the Copa del Rey once.
I appreciate everything Bale did for the club and I’ll always be a fan of his. But if we’re going to spend £70 mil plus on a player and put him on massive wages, I’d rather not spend it on a 28 year old injury prone wing who’s lost a step or three. There are much better ways we could spend that money.
