I'd just like to see that the Bale move is made as difficult/awkward/expensive as possible.

Fuck em!

Yep, now we have no need to keep anyone sweet except those we are trying to get in.
Bale, Barnett, Madrid can all now shut up and take a back seat while we do our business. We can get around to them and the Bale deal when we have a spare minute.

Wasn't angry, just completely perplexed and trying to understand because I couldn't see anything even slightly wrong in AVBs quotes.

And I think deep down we're all a bit ****ish.

I would have just preferred him to keep schtum about him skipping training, just IN CASE...Levy didn't end up sanctioning the deal.

Remember when the Modric shit happened the year before he was sold, and we ended up booing him off against Man City? I didn't want a repeat of that.

I'm surprised he's willing to go AWOL from training, but still won't come out and say something publicly. He's not exactly trying to keep the spurs fans sweet anymore just in case it falls through, so he may aswell speak his mind.

Yet another example of a top player having their head turned. Very sad to see, and unfortunately makes me think much less of him.

I just don't understand the urgency to leave this summer.

Calmed down a bit now. He could have left on such good terms but instead he disrespected the players, the fans and the club. What can the idiot be thinking, he's now left DL with a problem does he:
a) let him go and ignore the indiscretion
b) fine him the let him go
c) make an example of him by forcing him to stay
d) tell him to write a transfer request and the deal will be done in half an hour. (thereby him having to wave goodbye to between 8 and 10m signing on fee)

Yes. And internet reports too.

Well what can I say oh mighty one. If you have been Levy'd my condolences. But I see Levy as having the interest of the club at heart, it is his business. Just like we berate Barnett and his dealings with RM, he has Bales interest at heart. I have always been one of the workers never known what it is like to have that much power. ;)

Monkey faced sheep shagging ****

Levy should buy Lamela, call off the Real deal and bench the **** for a season to teach him some respect, see how eager BT and others are to work with him when he is getting splinters in his ass and training with the youths

One thing ive learnt about AVB since he's come to Spurs is that he says a lot of things that hasn't turned out to be true, you ought the read between the lines when he speaks.

I think you're searching for hidden meanings when there aren't any. AVB was pretty clear on Sunday and he's been clear again today. Bale has behaved unprofessionally this week

The fee will be massive to improve on the squad we have, and he was an amazing player to have played for our club.

But, the last few weeks the episode has put a sour taste in my mouth, the public tapping up, the agent leaks and then the refusal to even turn up was disgusting to be honest, and that is the sort of thing that turns me off this game, at least at the domestic level.

As has been said before, i hope it is not too much for him, Real, world record fee, new country, Ronaldo and all the prima donnas they have there it will be a million miles away from spurs.

Agree!
BUT this is modern day football, no loyalty anymore. All we can do is think about all the great things Bale did and how we enjoyed them so much.

Who really knows whether he or his agent or even RM advisors have told him what to do to push the deal through. I for one don't believe footballers are clever or cunning enough lol

Do you guys think we are already spending the bale money with all these new signing or we would be spending regardless ? I'm having a debate with some gooners.

Didn't like the way he left, did himself no favours...badly advised i'm sure.

However we are using the money wisely, we look like a real team....so tbh...adios Bale...who cares,he is history as far as i'm concerned and will not waste my energy hating him....i'm saving all my hate for the Emirates.

I don't wish serious injury on him although I would not lose sleep over it if it happened, i do hope though that he is a massive flop out there and that Ronaldo and the Real fans and spanish media make his life a living hell and his dream move turns into a nightmare
