People forget that Ndombele has absolutely breathtaking ball skills. Wandering in and watching him in a random few minutes of training, you could easily think he’s Cruyff reincarnated and see why all that money has been spent on him.

The problems emerge later and in real-game situations. He runs out of steam after 45-50 minutes. He lets adversity affect his attitude to an unhealthy degree. He goes through periods when he does unprofessional, verging on insubordinate things during matches.

Surely he needs to move on, but there’s no point in inventing issues, spouting tired clichés and being relentlessly snide.

You're not but others certainly are, just see his thread today for starters. I don't disagree regarding his professionalism, or lack of. But there is a ridiculous number of people aiming comments towards the guy, his physical appearance and love of food etc. It's honestly pathetic from supposed grown men, who might not be in much better shape themselves.

Anyway this is my last comment on Ndombele, and yes for those reading it's Ndombele and NOT N'dombele. If people are going to abuse him, at least get his name right.

his a professional footballer who has been here 4 seasons and hasn’t turned up in shape to pre season once

if he cared he would have got a person trainer and dietitian.

he has the look of a guy who’s very comfortable in life.

his on 200k a week, thats more in a week than most of us the country will earn in 5 years.
