Quite right. The golden rule of the internet. There's always a bigger and better pedant around.

It's the rule (which I can't remember the name of now) which states that any post pointing out an anomaly/error/oversight will itself contain and anomaly/error/oversight. Guaranteed.

Good to know he has now arrived. Let's hope this announcement is followed up with new deals for Bale and AVB and a few new signings!

Agree.

Levy quite clearly didn't really trust Harry in the market and only really backed his cheaper desires. I think he's been looking for the right man to do the majority of the market work for him for a long time, since Comolli really, who he did seem to trust a lot until Ramosgate (again with good reason, Bentley/Bent aside).

That's what we all as fans want, but Levy will not change and he'll play hardball till the last minute, as he always does.

Okay, good news but I do have one question and this is not being negative in any way but.....

Who has this guy signed in the past?

I really don't know the answer to this and is in no way a dig at him, but is his track record good or are we getting carried away. I know as Tottenham fans we never get carried away :whistle:, but maybe we might be.

Actually one of the big problems we have had is while we have lacked a DoF Levy has been doing deal with the aid of agents who work as intermediates, hopefully Baldini's arrival will see us have more direct contact and possibly expedite some deals.

I am hoping that he trust this guy and just gives him a budget to stick too, probably won't but he does need to take a step back.
