I'm just glad they saw through the Lampard-Gerrard axis of evil. Why is it the entire world can see through them except the England setup...Good selection of English talent there.

Pirlo at 36? Get the fuck out of here. Easily in the top 10. He's the best at his position in the world.
Dunno about that. Best passer for sure, but he doesn't offer anything defensively and doesn't drive forward like a Gündogan or Schweinsteiger.. All onions though
True, that isn't his game, that's why others are employed to make up for that. But don't be fooled into thinling that he doesn't put in a tackle or go forward at all, I watch plenty of Juve/Italy games to know it isn't the case. His vision and technique is something that no team in the world could refuse. Well, no team apart from Barca, as they have Xavi, an equally magnificent player.
And Hull judging by last night's match of the day
Diego? Lars Bender? I feel some players are favoured because of their clubs, Aubameyang and Mikhitaryan shouldn't even be on the list imo
Lol at Iniesta being ahead of Özil
Agree, Iniesta has been the heartbeat of Barca even more so than Xavi, and is (IMO) a joy to watch.Aside from not being a Goon, Iniesta plays deeper than Ozil and is definitely the superior player.

Perhaps, but I hope you don't still think Cazorla is better than Özil..?
I don't know if I said he was better, maybe I did. Cazorla was fantastic last season, naturally two footed, impeccable technique, superb vision, excellent passer. The only weakness he has is his athleticism, but then that's not Ozil's strong point either.
I've actually seen a few Goon's say that Ozil hasn't been that good for them so far. He's made decisive contributions, and his signing galvanized the club, but his performances haven't blow anyone away...unlike, say, Cazorla's did last season.

A player i enjoy watching more than Ronaldo, Bale or Neymar.
A flair player in the truest sense.
Depends what your definition of flair is.Would have to disagree with that. A very good passer with great vision and superb control, but I wouldn't call him a flair player. The three above are more in that mould imo
Depends what your definition of flair is.
Mine is someone that can do bespoke things in an instant due to the circumstances around him, one off pieces of skill or flicks to suit. Not just tricks that they know they are going to do before/when they receive the ball (ala Ronaldo, Neymar)
Zidane and Bergkamp were two other excellent exponents of this off the cuff flair where as most of the above's 'skills' are premeditated.
It's just his awareness, balance, touch, passing range, weight of pass, little bursts of pace, invention in an instant, creativity change of direction (either way) just a joy to watch, maybe in decline now (or being under played) but i would gladly have him at Spurs (although people would probably moan "he's not a left winger" but give me him over any of our speed merchants/wingers/AM's.Yeah, Zidane and Bergkamp are certainly great examples of those, but I don't know, I still wouldn't think of Iniesta as a flare player. Each to their own though!
