Cup Winners Cup semi-final
I was in the Paxton that night, directly behind Clemence and watched in horror goal which gave Barca a draw 1-1
and they nicked it 1-0 out there. Gutted

Didn't Perryman make one of the most awful tackles of his career in one of those games?

Peter Guthrie anyone?

Most expensive keeper from a non-league club and a fine tache to boot.

yes, but it was after relentless filthy dirty fouling from one of he most disgraceful barcelona sides i've ever seen. it was fucking awful. hoddle spent the first half high-jumping to avoid injuries. i don't usually applaud a foul, but when stevie p took him out, the whole ground cheered and i was right in there...

You can include Big Pat, he resigned to us in 1985, although he never played league matches I think he did play reserve games.
