But to be perfectly honest that was their only clear cut chance in the game. And to be even more honest I think we where poor yesterday! We did not know how to keep the ball, Kane introduction changed it little bit. But that's second game against tough opponent which we won. We went through difficult moments becase we where solid and organized. I'm sure we cannot play like this all the time because it will not and like yesterday all the time. But I just want to give credit that after two games, with weaker squad the year ago we look more like a team.
@SuperSpurs69 lol sorry I didn't want to reply to your message but to diferent one :D no idea how this happened.
@SUIYHA I was replying to you :D

I think by far the most encouraging thing from him so far was that Son was anonymous and Nuno rightly subbed him off.

Bergwijn in the second half was the only one of the front 3 starters having a good game. Typically we'd see that he'd be subbed off regardless of performance but instead Nuno replaced the two underperforming players regardless of who they were. Great to see.
Son was carrying a knock, which was probably a bigger factor in the sub.

Very concerned about the style of play ! Doesn’t seem to be any sort of fluidity in our passing , sit deep , can’t hold the ball and as far as breaking teams down ( if we ever get the chance ? ) I don’t see that happening.

Im surprised that people are concerned by Nuno football so far. Weve had two tough games and yes we played on the counter... but what I have noticed is we look far more comfortable on the ball. The triangles we see from Skipp, PEH and the defenders where we give the players the ball under pressure and TRUST them is a huge positive. We move the ball far quicker too. Im excited by him personally, however I think the clearest thing is that Son is not a number 9 and that we lose the ball often when played into him. IF Kane stays and we play as I think the games in periods have suggested we will.... well be happy with Nunos football.

Was watching the dugout cam video and he told Skippy "Don't rush, play"

Remember, he's coaching bad habits or different styles out of some of these players. I imagine Farke wanted Skipp to play forward quickly and we know Jose wanted players to just look to the channels immediately.

A lot of these players when under pressure are going to revert to what they did previously. It's hard to coach that out sometimes.

But it's good to see he's not telling players to rush and try to construct instead.

Well done to Dane for being smooth at the end there. I would 100% have put my hand out and stood there like a twat.

Nuno seems like literally the most humble and sincere guy. Don't buy this bullshit for a second.

When you take a step back and think about it. This is an article about leadership and professionalism based on I assume leaked inside info which in itself is massively unprofessional.

What a weird article.

Also, I quite like the idea of Nuno going around each player and asking if they want to be at Spurs.

The title of the tweet doesn’t exactly reflect the article. I wouldn’t call it too negative just unnecessary. For example, it says the club’s players have yet to truly warm to the Portuguese, despite him impressing with his coaching methods. We know Nuno doesn’t manage like Poch. He’s not going to be your mate.

Whatever player is leaking this 'info' to The Sun is a disgrace. Not buying into that story at all.

I wonder if it’s Harry. The Sun also tweeted a story about another conversation with Levy within minutes of this one. Different Sun accounts but still.

It’s a nonsense article. Even if true, I don’t see anything wrong with what he did. It’s good to see who is with the club and who isn’t.

So it's centered around him asking if they want to be at Spurs? What a crap angle. They like his coaching methods but still haven't warmed to him? Makes no sense.
