Football comes to Seattle!

Finally Seattle have a MLS team, they've started well winning the opening 3 games without conceding a goal, all games have been sold out which is good news, and I think they sold 15,000-20,000 season tickets.

My only problem, Freddie fooking Ljungberg! But Kasey Keller is in goal!

Great! How is the player that won the try-out doing? One norwegian journo made a documentary which showed his preparation and attempt to become a proffesional footballer with Seattle. He was shit and nowhere near to win it. But did it work out, did they find a good player?

Seattle have done brilliant so far. I thought their run would end against Toronto though with montero "out" but they did them 2-0 if i remember correctly!

Vini Oliveira was the guy that won the open try-out....he was cut after 2 weeks!

Yeah 2-0 was actually a great result, not many picked them to get anything out of that game!

Saw this on Futbol Mondial on sky the other day, that stiker looked like a calm finisher, and nice to see Keller playing.

Sounders had their first loss this weekend, losing 1-0 to Kansas. Keller got sent off around the 30th minute for being the last defender and handling out side the box, I thought Seattle were the better team and were unlucky to lose despite being a man down for 2 3rds of the game.
