I don't know anything about it other than they were interested a few weeks backPerhaps an agreement to buy at the end?

In what way?
Most time-served footballers
could have done the same.
I'm not a fan obviously.
and it seems Daniel does get rather large loan fees from Turkish clubs (5 mill for VJ)It gets him off the wage bill and keeps him playing. This was the club btw that I posted about being interested a month or so back, so it's not a spur of the moment thing, they have been interested for a while.
I'm not a fan either but you can see he's a powerful player and is physically imposing to the opposition. Also, we cannot fault his effort, truth be told, so unless we have a 'time served ' footballer we can trust then he has a use. We only seem to have kids to replace him at the moment anyway.

I have rarely seen a premier league player with less ability to control the ball ..... so why do I have a soft spot for the fella....?

A loan move doesn’t do much for us, permanent deal or piss off.
