Toda!! OMG yes he has to be the worst - came on as a sub against Man U at the Lane and was atrocious. Mabizela scored that screamer away at Leicester then disappeared. All sorts of rumours!. This stuff brings me out in a cold sweat!
Doherty was alright until a bad injury, after which it was all downhill. Could play centre half and up front and got his fair share of goals including a few in an FA cup run in 2001.
Wasn't toda a midfielder?

I'm old enough to remember John Lacy and Fazio reminds me of him, and not in a good way!. Havind said that you don't become an international footballer for nothing so maybe he has not had enough time yet. Lamela has had over 2 seasons now and I have seen enough to know that he is not going to make it in the PL.

Think I'm right in saying that John Lacy was affectionately known as 'the Professor' because in the whole squad he was the only one who had an O Level (probably in woodwork).

Imo, Fazio does bring some value to the team and doesn't deserve the harsh criticism he has got in this thread.
A good organiser, vocal and seems to be a good reader of the game.
Still think if he was playin on saturday, you would not have seen so many free headers by diouf in our box, dare say it he would have cut out the final goal...
He's OK nothing more or less. He's slow and the pressing game doesn't suit him, which makes me wonder why we bought him, but he's far from our best or worst ever.

one of the worst signings I've seen us buy at the lane. Completely hopeless defender and I would be utterly amazed if another pl club went in for him. He's slower than Corluka. Never thought I'd ever see that sentence about a pro footballer
People forget that great run of about 8 games in which he and Verts only allowed 2 goals. Of course he had some mistakes but plz be reasonable with ur comments or don't waste our time.

I could add Mbulelo Mabizela, Kazayuki Toda, Moussa Saib, and Gary Doherty to my list. All I would say are far worse than Fazio.

The ginger Pele!

You sir are a heretic. And besides the others were bought with mere pennies compared to Fazio.
