What a great thread.

I lost my 'special box' of Spurs programmes I collected in my youth. Virtually every FA Cup Final since '61, WC '66, loads of Euro finals, every Big Spurs game of note... gutted every time I think of that. Think its in a cellar in Nottingham somewhere...

Got some great autographs over the years. Mabbs outside Bramall Lane, Lineker outside Wembley after the semi in 91 (Van Basten, Gullit and Rijkaard at their peak in 88 (I think) also).

My fave Spurs bit of memb is probably a Man of the match trophy I got playing against a Spurs "Legends" team in 1999. Martin Chivers played (was about 96 years old but still class), Paul Allen, Paul Price, Tony Galvin, Gary Brooke (scored about 4 amazing goals) and loads more (not really very legendary) legends. It was still enough for me to feel totally starstruck. Scored a hat-trick against Milija Aleksic which was pretty special for me as he was the keeper from when I first really started taking an interest in Spurs when I was about 6. At the time it never mattered if he was good or not he just had an ace name and was pretty handsome. The same reason I loved Don McAllister.

Oh yeah, and a Ledley King signed shirt.

I have a pile of programmes from down the ages, notably :

1963 Cup Winners Cup Final - Mint Condish

Home and Away cup winners games against Dundalk (My first spurs match - Oriel Park) when i was 4-ish.

Ossie Dream on special edition Blue Vinyl.

The Glory Game signed by Mabbut, read and reread over and over.

My sons first spurs shirt that he still wears, it will be framed.

I was at that game too. I think it was my first Spurs game as well!!

I still have some of my autographed pics and photos from the 1960s and the most treasured are those of players who've gone to that great football pitch in the sky.

The number of those increases year by year sadly.

y'know, considering the advent of camera phones, i'm quite disappointed at the lack of pictures being chucked up.

Some groovy stuff stashed away amongst us though - we could open a Spurs Community museum

The History Thread in Spurs Chat serves that purpose to a certain extent. More photos and memories needed please SCers!

Not memorobilia to share but a memory.
On Friday night I was 'forced' to attend a school reunion, and ended up in one of those neew type 'pubs' that is really just a nightclub, with a mini-dance floor and stays open until 5 or 6 in the morning. Too much loud music, too much sweat...not the No Country for Old Men like me:cry:
And guess who was therer?
Lee Glover. For those of you who don't remember he's the Forest player who could ours out of the wall when they scored in the 1991 cup final. My Mum was his dinner-lady and I was sitting with a mate who is also a mad Yiddo and grew up next door to him. Needless to say, a suitable amount of urine was extracted.
And the memory was that on the next day after the cup final (the Sunday) I went on the lash (when I used to do that type of thang:oops:), and there was Lee Glover...needless to say, a suitable amount of urine was extracted:grin:

Anyone else got any recollections of seeing players from teams we have stuffed stareight after a match (whether you knew them or not).

I have a food menu from the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year awards when Klinsmann won it, signed by the man himself. Its sealed in a box at my dads house.

I also have one of the 150 numbered balls from the final when we beat Chelsea, I just wish it was signed!
