We need to get rid of Paratici as soon as possible. The club is getting dragged through the dirt enough and he just adds to the problem. What decent manager would want to join us and work with him? He is not the sort of person we want to be associated with.

Why would the club "get rid" of anyone facing charges?

You do realize that Paratici could sue the club for millions if he is fired, and the charges go unproven?

Should Levy have fired Redknapp before he won his court case?

I said as soon as possible not immediately. When the ban is confirmed we will be able to get rid of him for nothing because he will not be able to do his job. If you were a prospective manager would you want to work with somebody implicated in this scandal? I wouldn’t. We need to be in the best position to get the best manager.

Redknapp didn’t cover himself in glory that season. Spent half of it handling his court case and the other half prostituting himself for the England job.

And that if a player is out for more than three months, their contract can be terminated?!
I think that was only for the lower leagues and pretty much every club is against it. Robbie Savage Savage was saying on the Radio that there's no chance this his club, Macclesfield, would ever treat a player in that way.

I doubt that (ridiculous) plan will go ahead.
It's for National League only.

How could Levy be aware of an investigation into Juve when they hired him in 2021?

How can that be showing any incompetence by the club?

The club statement said that they we not aware of the latest ban until after the video was released?

I don't think you are focused on the facts.
It’s more of a general feeling, Levy/the club has known about the investigation into Juve for a long time, the Italian FA announced the suspension ages ago and went public that they wanted FIFA to uphold it, we didn’t seem to have any contingency plan if they did.

We’ve also had a manager, who clearly had no intention of extending his contract beyond this year and again there is seemingly no plan to replace him even when he’s left by mutual consent.

It doesn’t feel like a well run club to me at the moment.

He should've been immediately suspended pending his appeal.

"investigation"

My point being that you don't fire anyone in a job for being investigated.

Conte and his leaving has nothing to do with this at all?

And put together the best Tottenham side I have seen since Burkinshaw.

The point I was making has nothing to do with the England job.

I don’t think Ched is talking about firing though, what he is saying is the lack of planning behind the scenes for if it all goes south. We’ve been here so many times before where the club just act like they weren’t expecting something to happened when it’s been blinding obvious to every man and his dog.
Diligence and forward planning are something that this club hasn’t done for years and it keeps biting us on the arse time and time again, it’s absolutely pathetic and them up top are a complete and utter embarrassment to the club.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

It would depend on his contract details I guess, insofar as whether it includes any reference to a breach of the terms if he is unable to carry out his duties for specific reasons.

My point is, there is a lack of forward thinking. We all knew that Paratici might get banned and we all knew that Conte wanted to leave.

I think, ethos, direction, planning are the biggest gripes as fan we understand mistake happen, random stuff happens, but the lack of any contingency planning seems unbelievably embarrassing!
