Few rumours that there was a 15million add on if Madrid won the champions league with bale?

Bale and most likely Modric.

I have no idea on the figures but both these deals were very heavily clause laden imo. Modric to rise above or around 35m and the Bale deal has always seemed like a grey area. Don't believe for a second that 86m is the real fee when clauses come into the equation. Much higher, imo

I've no doubt both transfers had add ons. Would be interesting to know how much.

Spurs net £20 million through Real winning Champions league. Agreement in the sale of both players Bale £15 million and Modric £5 million

Do we know of any other add-ons?

The only agreement I knew about was that we would get less for early payment and more for late.

But you look at the Defoe deal and Levy has levels. Doubt even Madrid know what they have to pay.

Add the mandatory 20 Mill from 'Arry buying players from us and we have a decent looking warchest. What do we need again GK, LB, CB and CF?

Probably built into staggered payments with the transfer fee which we'll receive over the next five years....

I really want to believe this, lol.

Mad thing is if it were anyone but Levy I'd be writing off these numbers as total fantasy, but....it's Levy.

It's probably true. But probably we announced the maximum fee in the case of Bale. While I think that the modric deal was always confirmed to be up to £32m but Real announced something like £28m. Real announced less for Bale as well.

Question for me is whether this and the extra 38 million in tv money will be put back into the pitch.

Considering the club was break even before these windfalls, and the wage bill has been steadyp between 90-95m the past 4 seasons, it would be very disappointing to see another break even spend this summer.

Couldn't give a fuck about how much we spend tbh. Just want us to play well and build the stadium.
