Not Leandro, the third party-ness has been bought out by Inter due to his impending sale to England. This happened quite a while ago in fact.

Falcao can also go to Monaco for 6mths to a year, without being cup tied for Europe if they decide to sell in January, and end up at Real Madrid. It's near impossible to go from Atletico to Real but with Monaco in the middle it is more likely.

Lots of Monaco's signings seem to be Jorge Mendes players.

Sacrifice 1/2 year liquidity for an amount of 40-60m Euros is not a small amount... what's the point for Monaco to do such a favour?

They get Falcao's goals to propel them up the table and recoup the outlay.

The story was in one of the newspapers last week and Mourinho said (before he was sacked!) that there is an agreement between Atletico and Real which makes Falcao 'forbidden fruit'. That obstacle disappears if he goes via Monaco.

Whats also interesting is on the Doyen website Negredo is listed as one of their players. Could make any negotiations there quite tricky if we were still interested in signing him.

I'm surprised that they are spending all this money despite not resolving the tax issue with the French FA.

FIFA and Uefa need to close the gaps that people like Mendes are exploiting.

Huge exploitation! But for a you g South American player who may have a deprived back ground a massive chance to earn your fame and fortune.

I suppose it is just the way it goes and you have to deal with it if your Falcao until someone buys out that contract.
