I don't see the players are 'just playing for the sake of it' at all. They are clearly playing for Conte, it's just they aren't good enough to do it and don't trust the defence.

I don't think that's the case. Some players are not good enough but they are not so bad that we play the same terrible way every week, against Arsenal, Crystal Palace or Portsmouth. It's exactly the same thing every game. His system is VERY rigid and if they don't trust it and see the point it won't work.

Pretty well known that Mokbel is one of those who gets his info from the Spurs side, too. If we were planning on backing Conte then this wouldn’t be coming out in the press. It’s been leaked so fans start accepting we won’t be making any big moves in the market and so that they can shift the blame onto Conte.
