Milan Škriniar on #thfc head coach Antonio Conte: "Conte sat me down and explained movements to me, using videos as well. He hammers his players constantly, drilling this winning mentality into them. We ended up absorbing it even if trying to resist!" [Corriere della Sera]
Haha, love this. You can try to resist, but Conte will make you a better player whether you like it or not.

Quite interesting on Conte.

Its a nice video from 3/4 on spurs, conte and then Di Marzio discussing possible transfers

Summary
  • Del Piero on Conte
  • Di Marzio on Conte
  • Potential transfers / target remits
  • Di Marzio Interesting he picks kessie as an example and Conte view on him
  • Duscan - Di Marzio seems to be coy on this and just mention Juve reaaly want him, similar to what he said a week or 2 ago, also Di marzio compares him to a young Zlatan type player
  • final 1/4 transfers general not spurs related

Conte will hopefully sit Levy down and drill a winning mentality into him too!

Whilst he might be able to crack the players I suspect Levy will be harder to break. Hopefully he’s working as hard on him as he is on Ndombele!

You can tell Di Marzio is such a knowledgeable journalist - makes Dharmesh and Kaveh look like amateurs.

He also confirmed that the Man Utd stance of "we didn't want him" was total BS. They just couldn't admit their incompetence at missing out on him.

He didn't put Royal on because Doherty was 'bad' - Conte has a history of subbing his wing backs towards to the end of matches because they are expected to do so much running.

It's okay to say Doherty had a decent performance, even if you have written him off in the past.
If you watch the cpl mins previous ti the sub you’ll notice West Ham on the attack down our right, and their players running past a jogging Doherty. That’s when he decided to take him off. Personally I think he was spent, first competitive football in a long while.

It’s just so nice to see that each player clearly understands the formation / system and their individual roles within it.

Not seen our players look as comfortable and confident since peak Poch days.

Grazie Antonio.

Well, Mr Conte continued to prove why he is so highly regarded in the game.

The speed of which he has understood the problems at tottenham, how to get them organised, motivated, and fit is testament to it.

He understands the game at a every level. Clever bloke.

Can’t say it enough bloody night and day under Conte vs Nuno as a lot of us thought would be the case.

Great that we have Conte but still pretty annoyed that we completely fucked up the whole search this summer ending up with Nuno which as I and others said over and over, was a complete WASTE OF TIME!

Imagine where we’d be if we’d got Conte in summer.

Anyway onwards and upwards now and hopefully lessons learned internally!

When I inevitably go bald one day I'll get a hair transplant in his image. Loving watching us these days, cheers Antonio.
