Yeah, but you can't go just using facts to ruin the narrative!Hojbjerg had the highest pass accuracy of any of the midfielders yesterday.

He also read Kane & Son the riot act late on for not pressing……just what we need, pure passion & hard work.Hojbjerg had the highest pass accuracy of any of the midfielders yesterday.
It made sense - Skipp and PEH could press higher and support the forwards in their early pressure, with Winks providing additional protection to enable that press to move up the pitch. Stop the opposition creating chances by not letting them anywhere near the final third, but without losing depth. When Winks came on and we went to 3 in cm we played Winks as the deeper of the 3 with Hojbjerg out towards the left and Skipp on the right.
It seemed a strange decision. Would have preferred to see the 3 of them them sit narrower to close off the space, or at least 2 sitting back rather than just winks.
I can't believe it's been 15 minutes and you haven't had a jokey reply about what this stands for yet...Essentially, it looks like Conte is trying to turn Winks into the DLP he was always supposed to become - we'll see if he really has the required talent.
it's WINKY!!! not winksy ?To be fair to Winksy, Hobby was losing the ball far more than Winksy was whilst flapping his hands as if it were someone else's fault!
Winks has looked better than he ever did under Jose or Nuno.It made sense - Skipp and PEH could press higher and support the forwards in their early pressure, with Winks providing additional protection to enable that press to move up the pitch. It also meant that in the case of a potential break, Winks would be the one most likely to use the ball - and in theory he has a greater range of passing than the other two. You can see from Winks' couple of little cameo's he's been busting a gut to provide the defensive cover, as well as trying to be much more expansive and positive with his passing.

Not saying he has been great nor should he stay but he has looked more like a competent player and has actually looked to move the ball quickly and not hide.
Just to play devils advocate that could just be because he played lots if simple passes (not saying he did but stats like that can be misleading).Yeah, but you can't go just using facts to ruin the narrative!
Out played? What did they create? We created all the best chances, we’re comfortable and had some good play. It was a good efficient winReally? I was in and out of the living room as decorating etc but I thought we were mostly outplayed. Other than reggies cross for sons goal I thought both wing backs looked utterly pants at crossing. Sanchez was poor. Again. No creativity in the middle until Kane dropped deep. (So basically playing without Kane as a striker) one of holberg or skipp need dropping. Stick Kane in there ffs. And put Berg up top with son.
Mate you're arguing with a bloke who didn't watch the match, was high on paint fumes, and basing his opinion on the fact his six year old didn't bother watching the end of the match.Out played? My six year old didn't watch any of it so based on his logic I'm really starting to lose confidence in Conte.Mate you're arguing with a bloke who didn't watch the match, was high on paint fumes, and basing his opinion on the fact his six year old didn't bother watching the end of the match.
He is straight up lying. No way will that not have been a key part of their discussions. Plus if Levy didn't give the right answers Conte wouldn't be our Manager now. All my opinion but I am confident I am right.I've been enjoying AC's pressers like many on here . He comes across as pretty honest .
But there's one thing he said a coupla pressers ago . He said he had had no discussions with Levy about money for team rebuilding, seemed pretty sure about this . Do we believe this ? or is this question so hot that he is OK about avoiding the truth here ?
Its hard to imagine Conte not bringing this up in early discussions given his past .
Yep , I s'pose there's no halfway comment to deflect this presser question....he seems pretty straight about many thingsHe is straight up lying. Lying probably, Pochettino lied about it constantly too. If he says yes then journos will start asking about which players need selling and upgrading and it's always awkward.I've been enjoying AC's pressers like many on here . He comes across as pretty honest .
