Yes, they were completely wrong choices. Besides Mourinho won't win Serie A with Roma, just like Ancelotti didn't set the Napoli on fire. We are still on desperate trophy hunting loop leading to wrong managerial choices that began pre ENIC. We went for sure winner in Gooner George despite all he represented while neighbours took a chance on manager working in Japan.

We don’t know what they say behind doors between them all but if he feels like he needs to come out and say it publicly be my guest. I'm definitely more towards your line of thinking, I'm certain Levy makes mistakes because he's a control freak, doesn't really understand football but won't trust football people, and the board go along with it because they have cushy little numbers, I'm sure it's more complicated than that but it's a rough take on things.

That's the problem, I don't think that we are. We literally have the best manager for the job but still wont do things his way. ENIC doesn't show any ambition to win a trophy. It still feels like they're happy to compete with little spend and qualify for Europe.
