Nobody is being sacked. Sale plans deferred till end of season. Ramos will be backed with c£45m in Jan. Club hope to announce a number of deals beforehand in a bid to stimulate optimism.

Am hearing that both Hudd and KPB are on the verge of leaving in Jan (Everton/Celtic/City and Stuttgart) are the names being mentioned to me.

Dont believe that for a second. First off, theres no way anyone could say that nobody is going anywhere. If it doesn't turn around soon, then something will be done. It always is.

We're not likely to sign anyone before January either. And announcing new signings wouldn't make a lot of difference imo. Unless we could sign the likes of Arshavin when the Russian League finishes. But thats unlikely.

Thanks for passing it on though  Hope you're right

even if untrue, levy saying nobody is leaving would be the best thing to say as that should calm everyone down a touch..

also i think there is a massive chance we can get arshavin at the end of the russian season. he can easily put in a clause to leave if we go down or we dont qualify for CL in 2 seasons, he knows pavs here, and we really need him to get pav playing better. coming to spurs for possibly half a season is ideal as if the worst happens he is showing all the big clubs in europe what he can do in the hardnosed prem.. massive chance of getting arshavin

What player with any class would even consider joining us at this juncture?. Even if we were offfering a kings ransom, and that is the basic minimum, I doub't we will be able to attract the right type of player to get us out of this mess.

Ward - get ready to be slated by Realmadyid!!

OK then.

So, Ward. Who is this 45 Million coming from? Our new Owners that you said were coming in or the current board?

You say nobody is getting sacked, yet the new owner hasn't paid for the club yet, how do you know what he/she/they are going to do?

So far you have nothing correct, yet the tone of your posts really seems to imply an internal understanding of the club, why do you do that? And where is our new owner?

His performances in the Champions League are sure to attract more interest in him. He was excellent against Real Madrid and looked good against Juve. So i expect more teams to be in for him, and prepared to pay the valuation for him now. Hopefully i'm wrong and we're still the only Club in for him come January. It would still be a jump up for him to join the Premier League from the Russian League. Especially with Zenit doing poorly in the League this season. But i worry that we missed our chance.

Saying no one is leaving is a bit strange, we have a waiting room full of No-No's
like Ghaly, Staltieri and so on who aren't considered squad players. The club would love to offload that crew and reduce the wage bill.

Money is within club already. We are cash rich. No external investment required or sought. In case you hadnt noticed we were £10m surplus for player trading this summer, add that to the increased media/gate/commercial income streams, net wage reduction and the money is not an issue.

I have told you before why sale deferred. This was a couple of games before now and I wouldnt expect anyone to come piling forth in view of plumetting stock prices and at foot of table. It would make more sense for someone to come in the summer now, with a full summer of prep and DD.

Feel free to tar me with you scepticism. But I have been far from wrong, everything I have told was truth but things are subject to change. I can only convey what I have been told at any one time. I am not the oracle!

Besides I have a number of right points historically. Everyone knows I told of DB arriving before anyone, media included. And I havnt mentioned that I said we were in for Modric (quoting a fee no less) in Jan 2008 - far before any media had jumped on that band wagon. But then I guess, for some people at least, its just never enough is it..........

When I said noone is leaving I was referring to JR/DC/DL

are the deals possibly being announced non-player related then? like partnerships etc? or players signing new contracts?

The club has apparently made a £50m operating profit this past year (after dividends?). That's were the January cash will come from - that which wasn't spent in the summer.

All players. Nobody anywhere near signed yet, as far as I am aware they are drawing up a list of heads. I will try and get an idea of numbers and positions.

When you say DB who do you mean? Bentley, Berbs or Bent?

Also "In case you hadnt noticed we were £10m surplus for player trading this summer": I hadn't noticed. Honestly, I only notice the LOSS on player trading that the club announced just after the window closed on the OFFICIAL site:

Well we all know now why you're spouting a pile of doo doo. Right now is the perfect time to buy the club. The club might not want to sell, but for any purchaser now represents the best oppurtunity for a bargain so to say that the fall in value is a reason not to buy just stinks of ignorance.

Also, why would the end of the season be the best time to buy if, by then, we are relegated? Too little, too late that says to me.

Sorry. Not convinced.

No your the ignorant one buddy, I work on many corporate finance deals. You seem to think that because the price is low the club can be bought cheap but you just have no clue. ENIC hold the controlling interest and they wont sell for less than their valuation not the markets.

The only benefit to a buyer coming in now is that very small private or institutional investors may sell, looking to get out. But in truth at present the club is now massivley undervalued compared to its market capitalisation and generating an enormous value of goodwill on the b/s (as would happen if an ENIC acceptable offer came in and was transacted) is not good from a variety of positions.

The reality is the new owner has no care who we are, they are buying a vehicle. As such it amkes sense to see if we survive rather than pumpo money in and still be relegated and hemorage cash further. If we go down I dont doubt they will look elsehwere for value.
