I’ve said this a few times recently, but Lloris seems to rarely make saves, just concedes. I’m trying to work out is that because he doesn’t face lots of shots, or is he just not as good as he used to be?

Bugger, just decided to go to bed at half time and now I can't.
Didn't deserve to be 3-1 down, need to come out 2nd half with our composure back and carry on as we have been.
What is this quick slick passing football they are playing? Where has this come from?

We’re losing but there’s plenty to be positive about. I believe we can win which is more than what can be said against Chelsea and Brighton. The penalty is also ridiculous. I’m struggling to understand why it wasn’t overturned and how the ref can be so sure about it. Utterly bizarre

Højbjerg hasn’t been as good as everyone thinks, he sits deep but doesn’t seem to tackle anyone and is quite poor on the ball. He’s a danish Freund

I think this half encapsulates much of the debate about Jose. Even at 3-1 down i was happier, certainly more entertained, than I have been with many of the games we have played. Even those where we have been winning.

We've attacked with fluency, created chances, been aggressive and progressive. It meant that even when they went 3-1 up you could see a way back. We were playing well enough to create more chances and the goals we conceded weren't really through great play by Everton or even particularly bad play from us.

I'm certainly not saying that there is no room for pragmatism, but I want to see more of what we've seen in the last couple of games.

How the fuck hasn't VAR called off that penalty?
I've watched the replays repeatedly and I don't think any of them show definitively whether there was contact or not. I'm not at all convinced that there was, but equally you can't overrule the call made by the referee without clear evidence. Very unfortunate that the ref gave the decision, there's no chance it would have been awarded by VAR if he hadn't done.

We know we have issues in defence so not going to jump up and down about the goals conceded.

We look so much better going forward today, you could even say Bergwijn and Lucas haven't played well. As ridiculous as it sounds there are more positives than negatives in that half, Kane and Dele to come on in second half and we can win this.

We all know we need a top defender in the summer, will make such a difference. The positive is we are seeing that the team are starting to show promising signs moving forward.

3 goals let in that will bring the confidence up before city loool but listen we have played well. as much as i slate mourinho today its not his fault that we have a clusterfuck of a defense and our best dm is having a horror show, i guess its better it happens today than on saturday. but atleast we are creating chances good to see. ill bring on kane and ali in the 2nd half and go for it
Until he signs 2-3 really good defenders who he can rely on, it’s going to be like this. I’d happily see us only spend money on the defence/goalkeeper in the summer.

Klingon Lescott can fuck off, boring tosser - brings nothing to the table as a pundit. Just live off your mercenary Man City money and stay out of the media.
