It's quite romantic that it's them two battling it out as well - the Liverpool/Everton rivalry seems to have gone a bit limp in recent years, the games not being as urgent or passionate as they used to be. I used to love watching that derby match nearly as much as Spurs/Woolwich, but as a neutral it just made for good football but it's just become another fixture on the league calender for me now - hopefully Everton can keep this up and setup a nice final day header for a champions league place against their neighbours :up:

The Blues have two home games, against Boro and the Magpies which, on current form, is 6 points.

The Reds have a home game against Citeh, then play us at the Lane. Citeh have all the tools to cause them problems and i would say more likely a draw there. I will go with my bias and say i hope we finish the season on a high and turn them over, which, even if we settle with a draw, Liverpool have a lot of work to do to get that 4 point cushion by May.

Another reason for wanting Liverpool to get the 4th spot is that if Everton got it it gives them a pile of money to strengthen their team even further, making it harder for us next season, so for once I'm shouting for Liverpool!

Yup. I know he's an ex-Everton player and that, but there's no point in commentating on a game if you're going to be that biased. Even when he's watching a game between two other teams, he'll instantly favour a team, and defend them throughout.
