Personally I think Ade fcuking the whole system.
He constantly moves backwards were the AM3 are, this wouldn't be so bad if he didn't hold onto the ball for so long (or if he could actually trap a bag of cement)
If he's the target man up front, he should get the ball give it and go, but he doesn't.
It's killing the game in the final third.

46% passing accuracy in the game at the weekend.

Hallelujah!

I know Ade still has a fair bit of support here and elsewhere and he can bag a few goals on occasion, but for me he has been a massive weak link since the season started. Problem is he have very few choices instead, but Soldado was clearly showing some partnership understanding with Lamela pre-season yet he can't get a look in on match day.

I'm hoping Soldado now fit gets a run in the team.

I wonder if we should try Eriksen deeper to get him more involved.

Eriksen is a bit hot-and-cold in terms of intensity and urgency. But he's not a leader and he wont ever grab a game by the scruff of the neck. Unfortunately, that's true of all our players at the moment, though hopefully Stambouli will make an impression and impose himself.

But even then, Eriksen isn't the problem. It's those around him. Usually, he doesn't have any decent options because there may be only one player further forward. And that's if Adebayor hasn't run out to the wing. If we played with two strikers, we might have more joy and certainly Eriksen would probably become more influential. As it is, we have two midfielders behind him, which removes some responsibility from him, and offers him nothing but backwards and sideways passing options.

I think he's suffering playing as a No.10 behind the worst No.9 in the league in Adebayor. There are no clever one-two's, no cute passes, no through balls possible with Adebayor as he spends all of his time standing next to the corner flag, running on the spot in the centre circle, or sitting on the floor.

Play Soldado - regularly - and Eriksen will actually have someone to work with.

Will lead us to a NLD win and put Ozil in his shadow.

Have faith in the blonde maestro!

I have faith in Eriksen. He is intelligent and should be able to figure out how to play in Poch system.
More worried with Ade.

Eriksen is our most creative player.

He has an abundance of ability (one of our very few)

I think he should player deeper. Dictate play get forward as much as he can and influence play in the final third.

I would play him in central midfield along with a holding midfielder either Capoue or Stambouli.

Lamela one side Lennon the other

and play two up front. Soldado and Adebayor.

Especially at home againt the bottom of the table side.

Who knows a bit more attacking play could work! Les go crazy and try it.

I am concerned abt Eriksen. He was too casual last night that it was shocking. Please don't compare Lamela with Eriksen as the former seems to be the only player left with some passion after our lion-hearted trio of Dawson, Holtby and Sandro left.

Perhaps there are no more dedicated no.10 anymore left in the team, after loanings of Holtby and Carroll, to challenge his place that led to his complacency.. Poch gotta sort this area up sooner than later. If not we might be in for a season of frustrations that have no penetrations to break down teams like last night to be endured...
