I know it was a free, but Johnny Evans returning to Utd must be up there too. I know he has a history with them but I can only imagine how fuming fans would be on here if Levy pulled a stunt like that.

Dier to Munich is a surprise, for sure. But he’s still just 29 and he would be moving to a team which typically dominates matches in a much weaker league than the PL.

Munich have scored 49 and conceded 15 goals in 15 league matches this season. By contrast we have scored 42 and conceded 29 in 20PL matches. In theory he will be a lot exposed.
